Definitely the best cupcakes I have ever eaten! I highly recommend their red velvet and salted caramel cupcakes, which are SO SO GOOD! Though they are a little pricey, I think it's totally worth the money!

Honestly the best cupcakes you'll ever eat. I used to work next door to the Richmond branch and popped into Notting Hill this weekend to introduce my friend to Hummingbird cupcakes. A really friendly girl asked how our weekend was going and packaged up the red velvet and black bottom cupcakes nicely. Would definitely recommend and return based on the... More

We came here whilst in Notting Hill on our way to the Portobello Rd Markets. We ordered some cupcakes and coffee. The coffee was average and nothing amazing but the cupcakes were very nice. The service wasn't great and we spent ages paying as the server couldn't work out how much we owed and get the computer to work.

An iconic Notting Hill location. World class cupcakes and coffee. Dream of the fluffy cakes and icing.

A lot of hype, so we decided to try It out. The icing was delicious but the cake itself was a dry and flavourless. Great range for normal cupcakes but only one gluten free option which I find really limiting as most bakeries offer a lot more options. I think London has far better places that offer unique treats! For... More

Now that I've moved to London I decided that I must try the Hummingbird Bakery as the reviews have always been so great. I had the carrot cake and it was incredible - took me 3 attempts to eat it! Mum had the Red Velvet Cake and also really enjoyed it. I was a bit disappointed as I'd seen eat... More

The selection of cakes available here is amazing. I had a red velvet cupcake and cappuccino and left a very happy customer. Keep up the good work!

Visited in October and bought a selection of cakes. On returning home, we found the rainbow cake very dry and on closer inspection, it was visibly burnt. I am sure this would have been noticed prior to the cake being iced.. so says a lot about commitment to quality... A shame, I wont go back..

A lot of my friends were talking about how amazing the red velvet cupcakes from this bakery were & so I decided to check this place out. The bakery itself is pretty nice & had a decent sized seating area. However I was in a bit of a hurry so took the cupcake to go. I had the Red Velvet... More

Last time we've been in London we really fell in love with the amazing Cupcakes of the Hummingbird Bakery. A lot has happened since then. My wife kept baking cupcakes at home and got better and better. So we wondered how much we'll enjoy the Cupcakes this time around. Well.....not so much anymore. We bought a Red Valvet Cupcake and... Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
