I cannot really comment on the atmosphere, as the whole of London was extremely quiet due to COVID when we visited. We went for food around 9.00 pm on a Sunday evening, and there were only a couple of other people in the place. We...ordered meals, and the food was good and swiftly delivered to our table. It was also very affordable and the staff was pleasant. I am sure this would be great in terms of atmosphere in normal times and during the summer.More

Outstanding all over again, this restaurant/ Bar , was like part two of the completion of Sherlock Homes's Museum in Baker street, most of the photographs in the restaurant were of Holmes, but here you get to see a Bust of Holmes's dog Toby and...a little bit more....., a wonderful completion to the tour. check it outMore

We ate in the upstairs room, following members of a Brexit protest. They insisted that we Yanks join them and we had the most delightful evening of excellent food and conversation. We will never forget that evening and the wonderful camaraderie we shared. Staff, food,...and ale made for one of the most memorable parts of our visit. Can’t wait till we can return!More

I went there last night as a lost American looking for some dinner. I didn't know how to use the COVID track and trace and my phone wasn't working. The manager helped me and got me a table. I got the fish and chips and...a drink and it was soo good! Very fresh. The staff was always making sure I was enjoying my food and had everything I needed. I loved dining there and will be back to try some pies!!More

Go anywhere else. When I visited it was very quiet, yet both staff were behind bar more interested with their phones. Very poor service

Firstly don't book, they just give you the worst table in the place, secondly, they have the most miserable unpleasant staff I have ever encountered, the place has so much potential but is run down and tatty in places, definitely far better pubs in the...area, don't waste your time with this one, get a photo from outside and move on.More

The pub looks were attractive from the outside. We were mainly interested in a pub with outside seating and were pleased to find Sherlock Holmes. We were able to get a table and were served at the table by friendly staff. Guinness with blackcurrant was...great, just the way we like it. Thank you!More

Came here for drinks and lunch after booking it online . Staff were miserable so unprofessional and to be honest looked like they had just got out of bed! Prosecco was flat, beer was cloudy - was an effort for them to rectify the problem!...Food was ok nothing special! Spoke to the manager but was pointless! Won’t be returning unfortunately, shame as it’s a nice looking pub!More

I stopped into The Sherlock Holmes (mainly for the name) when going round in London for just a Pint but my experience would make me certainly want to come in for another drink again when next in London. The level of service from everyone on...shift was very high and was made to feel very welcomed. The pub had a really nice and attractive decor and the Pint itself I had was lovely. Best pint of the whole weekend I was in London. Will definitely visit again!More
