Based in the heart of London, the City, Sfoglia BO will bring you the ultimate Italian cuisine experience. We brought the Bologna's traditional cousine to Aldgate, with our signature fresh hand-made pasta. Open from Monday to Saturday from 11 am to 12 pm, you can find us at 3 Middlesex Street, neat Aldgate, Aldgate East and Liverpool Street Tube stations.
Took a party of 10 guests because I had been told the food was good. It was, but not worth the floodlit laboratory atmosphere and appalling ‘couldn’t give a xxxx” service. Had to ask four times for drinks as it seemed only one person could...More
We went to this restaurant with high hopes after favourable reviews. The main restaurant area looked inviting and was almost empty, but we were shown to a dark corner in a side room. Service was extraordinarily slow - perhaps because we were out of sight...More
Popped in for dinner with 2 kids. Food was lovely but fairly small portions.
Even for London, soft drinks were expensive (£3 for small juice).
Very tasty food & fresh pasta being made.
12.5% service charge added to bill as standard.
Would visit again but...More
Came here based on it TA rating and wasn’t disappointed. Was relatively quiet when I came but it picked up while I was here. The staff are friendly, welcoming, knowledgable and attentive. The menu while not extensive had some good hearty choices. The food was...More
I start to speak about staff... since we put our feet inside of the restaurant they were really really polite and friendly with us!
What about food.... no words, tagliatelle with bolognese ragù and tagliata with Parmesan was amazing! I hardy recommend this restaurant because...More
Lovely fresh pasta made to order. Lots of gluten free options for our coeliac guest. Service was excellent -warm, friendly but professional. Thank you for a lovely meal! A few more fish / seafood options on the menu would be my only request!
London is swamped by Italian chain restaurants for pasta and pizza - and inevitably they’re an easy choice for tourists looking for somewhere safe and easy. So it was reassuring on a Friday night to see this restaurant busy with a mix of both city...More
My wife and I made an impromptu booking of this restaurant having seen good reviews for it online, and the fact it was a stone throw away from the Travelodge. We very nearly went to the tapas restaurant next door, but after reading the TripAdvisor...More
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

Sorry for my late response, but I don't think they will answer you via trip advisor. Better book through OpenTable App or directly on their website mattarellorestaurant.uk and under reservation
I hope it helps.
