It's good, but nothing really special. I read so many reviews that this place was a real piece of Italy. I doubt. Service could be better and more personal. It's not bad at all, but its just a normal service in an ordinary restaurant, and it's just far away from a good Italian way of treating clients. Food is good.... More

Excellent atmosphere - fabulous wine we had the Lagrein, and the sea bream carpaccio was delicious. Restaurants that cater for the pre and post theatre crowd have to be good on speed of service but also make you feel welcome. They scored well on both. And finally the political discussion was good with a big yes to the Five star... More

We celebrated the birthday of my mother at Bocca di Lupo. The food was superb. Not the usual "italian" that you can see everywhere. Even if it was full, the service was impeccable and quick. Highly recommended!

Popped by on the off chance we could get a table, didn't expect to be so lucky as it was a Friday night. The food was delicious, from the raw sea urchins to the pasta and risotto dishes and the fossil fish. Lovely wine and the desserts and coffee were delicious. The service was great and while it can be... More

We sat at the bar area. The atmosphere in this place was great -buzzing even. The servers were friendly but also super busy. The food was nice but far too heavy for me. Everything we tried was very rich and carb involved with the exception of the radish salad. The salad looked very appealing to the eye: lots of colours... More

I can't say Bocca di Lupo was absolutely terrible. The suppli we had as starters were actually pretty good. And so was the zabaione coffee and other desert-like coffees. But the pasta was well below average in quality, with hardly any sauce that didn't taste like much anyway. And quantity was not much either. Considering the pretty steep price, most... More

Ate dinner here on a recent city break in London. Although the restaurant was extremely busy, the service was excellent. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. All four diners in our party were delighted with the food but the "braised ox cheeks" and "roast suckling pig" deserve special mention. Both were excellent! Good wine list and reasonably priced... Quaint little Italian in the heart of soho! The Menu is traditional old countryside which can be an acquired taste. However the flavours are captured well in delivering this style of food and has a Nona's Cucina type feel. I had a late booking and the food took a long time to come which meant they was rushing us to... More

I had been several times previously with business colleagues for both lunch and dinner and had hugely enjoyed the food/ambience. This time I treated family for a celebratory dinner and we started with two bottles of excellent house Prosecco (£73.00). Starters included delicious burrata and heritage tomato salad (£10.00) with carpaccio of sea bream (£9.00) plus 3 each Olives stuffed... More

Tucked away on Archer Street in the heart of London's Theatreland, Bocca di Lupo is a vibrant Italian trattoria restaurant catering to Soho socialites and luvvies alike. Ex-Moro chef Jacob Kenedy and his partner, general manager Victor Hugo, have created this chic restaurant renowned for its regional Italian dishes. As soon as Bocca di Lupo opened, it began earning enormous critical acclaim and ever since, this buzzy and highly accessible restaurant has continued to receive numerous awards and accolades for its simple, well-executed Italian cuisine and casual ambiance. The dining room at Bocca di Lupo is dressed with canvases by Haidee Becker, or if youre seeking art in motion, curious culinarians may dine at the chef's counter with views of the kitchen at work. Signature dishes include the rustic pork and foie gras sausage with faro and porcini; and the burnt almond granita with bitter chocolate sorbet.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
