We booked this restaurant several weeks ago, before the general election was called. So, when we went, Parliament was in recess, and the place was practically empty. Usually this means a lack of atmosphere, but not on this ocassion. We were warmly welcomed, and sat...More

Great service and lovely discreet table seating. Shepherds pie very good as is the coconut and rum sorbet and picpoul. You can also just use the bar area for drinks and they have happy hour until 7pm. Good solid London restaurant. Worth a visit.

Food was excellent, hearty portions and full of flavour, loved the lamb, and the spring greens were some of the best I have ever had. The staff were polite, discreet, and totally professional while being warm and friendly. Importantly - for me - there is...More

It was a truly great meal. The smoked trout was refreshing , the rabbit confit succulent, and the lemon tart irresistible! We went for dinner on a Thursday evening and the dinning room was very busy. The service was pleasant and efficient. All in all,...More

Loud yet squeaky voiced employee ruined what might have been a pleasant meal. Highly unprofessional conduct as this woman either snarled at or flirted with staff and customers alike. Not to be repeated

I come here for after work drinks often - especially to take advantage of happy hour. Gorgeous setting, very friendly but professional staff, great selection of drinks. I hope to try the food one day but haven't got round to it yet - maybe next...More

Fantastic find, thanks to OpenTable! I was in London on a business trip, and found myself without a dining partner on a Friday night after meeting with associates at a pub. I wanted some traditional English fare - so searched on that criteria. Shepard's of...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to

Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
