During a trip to meet our son in London we visited the Brick lane/ Spitalfields area. The area is vibrant, lots going on, fun and sitting there is this great cafe serving Thai food. It was a first for my wife and she loved it as did I. The food was very tasty and the portion size good. We would... More

Having long been a fan of spicy food I have always found Thai to be lacking a certain body and fullness compared to Indian. The thick red chicken curry here was absolutely outstanding. Simple place, nice ambience and a great meal for the three of us.

Typical high street Thai food, you can ask for lowering the spice level, fresh great drinks and big portions. It's not the first time I went there, I much prefer Rosa to Busaba chain. I recommend pad thai, green curry with wild rice and their green tea.

Been trying to find an excuse to get here for a while...USA friends over and hence we snuck in for a later lunch. Plenty of selection of mixed starters and then the next Tom Tam Goong outside of Thailand that I have tasted (I worked in Thailand for 5 years...) Main course selection is the Thai classics, but well presented... More

We had the pad thai, pad see ewe, pineapple fried rice and some curries. It was tasty! Prices are average during lunch hours but expensive for dinner. We came a few times already to this place and every time the service is poor. The prices are going up but service is terrible, don't really understand their strategy. 6/10!

The cafe was busy on a Saturday afternoon. The Pad Thai noodles were really good and it's a big portion (probably could share a starter with someone). The spring rolls with a sweet chilli dipping sauce were even better - definitely recommend those. The staff were very friendly and attentive and service was quick. For Pad Thai noodles, spring rolls... More

Dear Sharon, Our food is made with authentic recipes; if you found it too spicy, this could have been modified to suit your taste. Regarding papaya salad, the traditional recipe only has dried prawns, no other meat. Sorry to hear that you thought this was a disappointing experience. All the best, Rosa's Team More

The food was wonderful- tasty, hot and deliciously full of flavour. Can highly recommend the chicken wings starter, the Deep Fried Salmon red curry and the dry fried chicken. The restaurant is not very big but the staff are welcoming and attentive. The food is served quickly so the wait for a table is not long. We booked to ensure... More

Description
This is where it all began for us. Our first London Thai restaurant, just a stone’s throw from bustling Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market. Rosa’s Spitalfields has an intimate, laid-back atmosphere, and is where we began serving our signature dishes to a London crowd hungry for fresh Thai food with a modern twist.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
