Nice pub in a lovely environment in lovely NottingHill. Unfortunately the service staff, an in particular the manager, probably have had better nights than the one we have been. Trying to take drinks away because they wanted to close fast is probably not the way to make guests come again.

We met up with family at the weekend. Whilst the food was very nice, the service was strange. We struggled to get a table as most were reserved for the rugby which was 2 hours off. When we explained we wanted food, then we're happy to leave the table the service improved, we had the food which was good. However,... More

A lovely homely pub on the west side of Lieinster Square .. The inner island bar serves three areas and is very popular with the locals .. I personally didn't eat on this occasion, but the food I seen being delivered to other customers looked good .. The real ale available was from the Badger brewery and a good brew... More

The bartender was not very nice, my friends had beer and I asked for a tea because of a throat problem and she gave me a bad look. A friend asked for the WiFi and she said it was only for the customers even though we were drinking on the outside terrace.

Fantastic location offering a great traditional pub feel. Good choice of drinks and some great cask ales. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food is slightly disappointing. Not quite enough choice and need to improve (slightly!) what is offered. Ordered the fish and chips and was somewhat disappointed with what I received. Build up the portion size a little - a... Very friendly and very good portions of food. Probably the only pub in the area that shows football.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
