Was so pleased to come upon Bistro Benito while staying in Kensington. The world is overrun with chain restaurants so when you have the chance to visit a unique local restaurant- do it! The owner told us he has been there for 38 years. He...More

If you are in London, in the Kensington area you must try this small and very firendly Bistro. Simple good food. Delicious pizza´s and pasta. A great surprise I found in South Kensington!!! Nothing fancy, but good food.

Don’t do a children’s menu but very accommodating and child friendly when I arrived with my 6 year old daughter. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. My daughter had a pizza and enjoyed it. Will def return when I am in Kensington in future.

The restaurant is cozy and warm. Friendly and efficient service. The pizza was excellent - as was the sole. The tomato salad was good. The soup and the shrimp and avocado were just OK. House wine was nice easy drinking Italian.

A very welcoming family owned restaurant. Visited tonight and my husband and I had a very enjoyable meal. Tasty food, attentive but unobtrusive service and the best profiteroles I've ever tasted. Busy but very organised. Would return in a minute if in area again.

This restaurant has been one of our favourites for several years now. It's open late, so if you are peckish after a show in town, at the RAH or V&A it is easily accessible from Earl's court station or the 74 bus route. The decor...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
