Some colleagues and I booked a table for lunch. First time here and it was like stepping into a restaurant in Limassol. One of our guys is actually from Limassol originally, so he dealt with things in Greek and we dispensed with the menus and just asked what was good today. We had a small meze followed by fresh sea... My mother and I stumbled upon The Four Lanterns quite by accident on a walk in the neighbourhood around our hotel. It was getting on toward dinner time, so we decided to pop in. What followed was a lovely meal with excellent service, and had we the time on our trip, we would have likely returned for another meal. We... More

I had a moussaka takeaway and it was yummy but the huge portion size was the best bit! I got roast potatoes (which if I had to put a negative they were a little bit too greasy) and rice with it. I will be visiting again to eat in.

Smaller local restaurants are usually much nicer than the big chains and this restaurant was no exception. We had booked for another Greek restaurant down the road, but it was not open so we chose the nearby Four Lanterns as an alternative. We had a baby with us and they quickly found us a high chair and made a fuss of... More

We were looking for a nice Greek restaurant and we found one! The four lanterns offers traditional Cypriot and Greek cuisine. In addition to the regularly served Cypriot dishes, e.g. soul, souvlaki etc. it offers some rarer ones like avgolemoni soup (egg, lemon, rice and chicken soup) and stuffed marrow (zucchini filled with rice, minced meat and cheese). The latter... More

If you're ever craving Greek food and you happen to be at Warren Street station then you must stop at the Four Lanterns. This cute little Greek/Cypriot restaurant is located on Cleveland Street, just a 5 minute walk from the above-mentioned underground station. Last night was my second time at this restaurant following a first delicious experience with my work... More

Phoned up today to book a table to validate a Groupon purchase and was answered by (I think was the owner) person who spent most of his time coughing into the phone. Seemed proud of this. Once I mentioned it was for a Groupon purchase he informed me very rudely that they don't accept Groupings. I explained that I was... More

Have been coming years here for over 15 years, and it never disappoints. This is a small, family business and the owner takes pride in ensuring that all the customers have a pleasant time. The food is traditional and the portions are generous. The halloumi starter and the kleftiko main come especially recommended.

Visited with a group of 10+ people. The starters were amazing specially the zaganaki! Totally recommended. Food was warm and freshly cooked. For mains most of had grilled meat or the moussaka. I had a mixed souvlaki however a bit dry. I needed to order more tzaziki. The decorations were really nice giving the place a cozy ambience. I would... More
