We went as it was rumoured to serve London's best coffee... we're no experts, but it was defo better than Starbucks or other coffee high street chains. The staff were really friendly and they also bring you naturally flavoured water :-D

We discovered this place 4 years ago and thought it was fantastic. We went back a couple of years ago and it was even better. The pastel de nata custard tart had caramelised sugar topping similar to a creme brûlée. Out of this world. We hadn't been back for a while because the location is a bit out of the... More

I have never been to Kaffeine before and don't live in the area. I had a lunch break and fancied a sandwich, I searched for a local cafe and found this one. On entry I wasn't greeted. As I approached the counter a female assistant with short hair said hello, without a smile. I asked her if they had only... More

I go here for lunch when I'd like a nice, healthy salad. The sandwiches looks really good as well but I haven't tried them yet. This is a great place for a quick lunch or just a cup of coffee.

This is a coffee shop worth checking out, having noted it's appearance on many " best of in London" lists .It is small , and seating is limited, but had a great neighbourly feel, despite the international mix of customers. The Aussie baristas made you feel like this was in Melbourne. The cappucino was excellent , complemented by the Portugese-style... More

Good to see independent coffee shops starting to make considerable inroads into the chains. This is a little gem that's well worth a visit. Great coffee although not a huge amount of sitting space.

Hi Robsski, Thank you very much, yes they are even calling the rise of the independents the 'tidal wave' of coffee, after what they previously called the first, second and third wave of coffee culture over recent years. Really very kind of you to post such a lovely review, thank you very much indeed. We actually opened another store not... More

Popped in here randomly - coffee was amazing. No space to sit, but always a good sign! Please open one in Canary Wharf!

Popped in for last minute breakfast. Not much left on offer but avocado, feta and egg brioche was great, as was granola. Good coffee. Wished they had a chai latte though!

Staff was friendly and smiling. Americano was more than great, smooth taste. Sandwitches we had were big and tasteful, just the right "snack" to have middle of day after you have walked around sights.
