The decor in this place is insane and the staff are lovely and willing to go the extra mile. It is very pricey but lovely menu. I was very disappointed with the amount of pepper corn sauce. For £3 the amount was tiny and nowhere near enough personally. The bill came to £125 this including two steaks 400sirloin and 300... More

Pleasantly surprised this much hyped restaurant lived up to its reputation. Steak was excellent! Service was great much better than I expected- attentive, knowledgable and seemed to care! ( rare these days!) simply stunning views too. A clear and beautiful night it was a great choice. Would recommend Marinated steak dish, Argentinian wine selection was excellent too

Vibrant restaurant on the riverside overlooking Tower Bridge. Make sure you book a table as very popular at the weekend. Service was great. No long wait for food to come. We had Ravioli and Salmon for mains which were delicious. You need to order all the sides as comes on it's on. Desserts were delicious. No complaints , reasonably priced... More

Amazing steak and location. Every time I've visited we've had a window seat overlooking the bridge. Very modern decor, great service and friendly staff too.

Had a great meal here, the steaks are wonderful. This restaurant is not cheap but the food is good and the service is great with very friendly and helpful staff. It was full so obviously very popular. The only slight negative was the quality of the dessert that my friend had. The coconut panacotta was ok but didn't have much... More

Visited gaucho tower bridge for a valentines dinner, and it was simply amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. We were shown to our table when our waitress immediately introduced herself and talked us through the menu. The steaks were sublime. A must visit which I highly recommend

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
