What a wonderful place this is. Beautiful setting, faultless service and a knowledgeable sommelier. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food lives up to expectations of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Saving up to go back as soon as possible!

I was lucky and didn't care of prices - it was corporate event - but I guess it's a pricey place. Also with cinematographic interior, superb delicious cuisine and exceptional service.

We went to La Chapelle as a xmas present from our two sons who had bought a fixed menu three course meal with a glass of Champagne on arrival. Firstly we were impressed with the interior of the building being an old warehouse with high beams and stunning chandeliers. We went off piste with some of the food as we... More

When a restaurant has a Michelin star, it comes with a certain standard of service, ambience, and food that it has to live up to. La Chapelle far exceeded this for us. The staff could not have been any better with the correct level of attentiveness and perfect approach to us. Our three course meal was spaced perfectly between courses... More

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday. Went for the tasting menu with wine pairing. Staff were incredible, very friendly and professional but totally unpretentious. Sommelier was great. Food was absolutely amazing with the truffle risotto and crab lasagne being particular highlights. Dinner took 3 hours in total and there was no sense of rush. The room itself is also... More

We were given a gift meal voucher for here. Lovely dinner, lovely wine, a bit pricey if we hadn't had the voucher but the food was good. Really lovely atmosphere and decor! On Sundays, you can find parking outside which is a bonus.

Galvin La Chapelle resides in a 120 year old chapel (St Botolph Hall) between Bishopsgate and Spitalfields market. The size and scale of the interior; the lofty, exposed beams, huge lighting gantries. and tall, elegant windows create a grand, theatrical style which echoes through the building. Yet despite the grandeur, there are intimate spaces for quiet, romantic dining, set apart... More

Went to Galvin La Chapelle on a Friday night for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great and the food was even better! Went for the 7-course tasting menu, which was amazing from start to finish. We highly recommend it and will definitely return.

We had a lovely dinner here - great staff, food and ambiance. Started with some champagne while we picked our starters (beetroot salad) and then moved on to some featured Argentinian wine while we had our main (sea bream) and dessert (posset). Loved it all! Highly recommend and will return.

We went Galvin La Chapelle for my birhtday and it was such a fine dinner experience. We were there with a deal, which is a great value for a Michelin star restaurant. Even though we were on a cheap deal, everyone looked after us very well. Food was exquisite. All dishes was cooked with lots of respects for original ingredients.... More

The third restaurant to be opened by acclaimed chef brothers Chris and Jeff Galvin, La Chapelle has been consistently praised, winning no less than 8 top restaurant awards in its first year, including AA London Restaurant of the Year, and Tatler magazine's Restaurant of the Year. Chef Patron, Jeff Galvin, provides a menu of modern French cuisine, gaining a Michelin star in the 2011 Red Guide, just a year after the restaurant opened. There is also a menu gourmand, prix fixe lunch, early dinner menu, and Sunday Roast lunch menu. The service, under the direction of Alessandro Piombino and his team, effortlessly combines warm, friendly and attentive hospitality with a fine sense of tradition and decorum, in keeping with the grandeur of this Grade II-listed building. The restaurant is one of the few restaurants in London to hold a vertical list of Hermitage La Chapelle wines.
