We live maybe 20-25 minutes walk from Le Pont, and dine there once every couple of months. On Friday, 23/06/17 I took my wife and a friend there for my wife's birthday. As is the norm I find, everything went off okay, from the warm...More

Superb a la carte menu. Bit pricey, so lunchtime set menu is great value and still good quality. Have been a few times. Better to ask for a table with a view at the time of booking.

A balmy evening: six friends meeting up: what could go wrong? The mistake probably was to pick the set menu where the food choice looked reasonable as did the price. No doubt to maintain margins the restaurant compensated for a lower price by what seemed...More

Hi! I am looking to go here for my wife's birthday in early May. Would love to reserve a good table on the terrace but read in the website that the terrace is first-come-first-serve basis. As such, I wonder if any of the TA user can advise on how busy it is on a Saturday lunch or dinner. I think Tower Bridge is best viewed in the evening in May. If it is so busy in the evening, we will try to go early. So any recommendations are welcome!

It depends what you are looking for. It is quite a formal grown up place. If your children would enjoy that and are into food, then fine. If they want a pizza and colouring sheets, it is not the right place.

How much for the bottomless brunch menu? On the website there is a brunch menu but not bottomless, is the normal menu just the bottomless brunch> Also, is the bar & grill as nice as the actual restaurant bit?

Le Pont de la Tour is London's ultimate destination for fine French dining with breathtaking views. Located by Tower Bridge with dramatic panoramas across the City, the glamorous setting is matched by executive head chef Nuno Goncalves's exquisite French cooking. In fine weather you can dine on our famous riverside terraces enjoying restaurant favourites such as Dover sole and foie gras alongside modern dishes. The adjoining Bar & Grill offers a sophisticated take on a Parisian brasserie, with a buzzing atmosphere and bistro-inspired food to match. An impressive wine list of Old and New World wines, overseen by Le Pont de la Tour's award-winning sommelier team completes the experience. Whether it's a luxurious three-course dinner, a relaxed lunch on the terrace or a cocktail in the Bar & Grill, dining at Le Pont de la Tour is unforgettable.
