I went for dinner with 4 friends on a Friday night. The main room was very busy but it still felt like the atmosphere was reserved and relaxing. The service is very good - the waiters are all Italian, friendly and experienced (I am Italian and I noticed that they knew what they were talking about). Inhad a carbonara and... More

A traditional Italian with excellent service and good food. Probably over priced but paying for privacy and discretion. An opportunity for an unhurried friendly relaxed evening.

We had an early Sunday evening dinner at La Famiglia at the suggestion of a friend who lived around the area. We were greeted by two lovely gentlemen who managed the restaurant and were shown to our table. Since we were early, there were not that many tables there yet and we enjoyed a relaxed meal. Food – We ordered... More

the staff at the door are beyond horrendous. the food was good. the staff waiting the tables were good. the coat check, sarah and her manager were awful. we asked for tickets for our coats and umbrella, they boasted they did not need to give them. when leaving, they forgot to give our umbrella. when we called back 45 minutes... Having moved to World's End in 2005, it was wonderful to revisit a place I'd been with my parents in the 70's. In those days, we travelled way across town then for delicious authentic dining. At the time, seldom found in London. Since arriving in World's End, it's been my all-time favourite. Whether it's been working lunches, family suppers or... More

In a nutshell, this restaurant is full of pretension, good food terrible service, astonishingly disrespectful management in a tacky decor. My experience started when a suit came storming out of the entrance door almost breaking my nose with it, I though what a rude guy, and I got in the small corridor that makes you feel as if you were... This was a fun lunch but I think for party's if 10+ there are better venues who take better care and don't levy a fee on top of service which in all honestly left us a bit annoyed - I'd rather pay a deposit against a booking against the bill then be charged a fee for being a large booking... More

Came to La Famiglia for a last minute business meeting where we only had 40 minutes...the staff sat us promptly with a smile and after discussing our situation stated it would be no problem to get our food and have time to enjoy it. We both had a salad and the pesto- delicious!! We sat outside on a beautiful day... More

Food ticks all the boxes, I am not a great truffle person but my friends raved about the pasta and truffle starter. Its a safe choice, staff have a good sense of humour.

The rear courtyard is the best place to eat in summer, and we have enjoyed a number of good meals there over the years. It is very popular for Sunday lunch, so book!

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
