Nice old venue with different beers and pies but they do not have a Gluten Free menu and staff could not confirm chips etc are not fried in the same oil as gluten contain products.

A warm welcoming bustling public house in the historic Aldwych area right next to LSE and Royal Courts of Justice. Visited with a bunch of classmates from LSE after a long week and the drinks, chat and finger food were good. Probably biased about the...More

My husband and myself were celebrating our wedding anniversary and popped into this pub on our travels. Very quite for a Sunday lunch time. Nice friendly staff. Beautiful building.

The Old Bank of England pub is one of our favorite pubs in London. The interior is beautiful, the beer selection is fantastic, and the staff is kind and friendly. My wife and I always make an effort to visit this pub when we're in...More

Had our works Christmas party here, and were told we would have an area cordoned off, but this turned out to be the balcony, which was a bit cramped for 20 odd. The place was also so crowded and noisy downstairs you couldn't hear anything....More

Reduced range of real ales due to "under ordering'....also reduced range of pies on the menu...the ones I did settle for ordering were a bit on the stingy side size wise...especially with only a few chips and a spoonful of veg to accompany the smallish...More

My wife and I went to this pub for a pre-theatre meal – we walked into the City rather than the West End for a change. Arriving a little after six in the evening the place was still busier than I expected for a Friday....More

Food average. Ordered bread starter, very small didn't think they could be serous. Lasagne really running. Breakfast bun basic hard bread and no garnish with anything. Portions basic and small. Very disappointing. Sharing platter for very small people. Nothing special. Won't go back

Thank you for the review, however, I am unsure you have the right venue. We do not serve lasagne or breakfast. Thank you for taking the time to write a review, Sarah

Inner London’s busiest streets crisscross quiet
cobbled lanes for an effect that can be urbane or
quaint – or an intriguing blend of both – depending on
the particular corner you turn. Due to its especially
convenient location, bustling Holborn hosts an
excellent range of hotels, eateries, and shops to suit
practically any taste or budget. With major
attractions like the British Museum and Somerset House
