Best breakfast in Borough, No nonsence, unpretentious, honest, filling, tasty food & Monmouth coffee. Although established in the 80's it has an old london atmosphere and feel about it Black & white photos of a bygone era, red and white check table cloths and smartly dressed staff add to the immaculate attention to detail.

Enjoyed the breakfast here. Food was very good and a very good value as well. The dining space is small and probably has an extra table or two more than they should, but it was still pretty comfortable. I liked how they had bottomless tea. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Had a full English breakfast on our first morning in London and we're not disappointed food and atmosphere were fantastic, can't imagine the good being better anywhere. Austin is a lovely host and the staff efficient and friendly. Will be returning for our last breakfast in London and can't wait.

Lovely to find a traditional Cafe that left you more than full and not with the usual 'deep fried' taste from a full English. It's not very often I write a review, but this place is well worth it - Service A*, Food A* & Surroundings A* - top job!

Stayed in the Base Apartments on a two day business trip and had breakfast at Terry's both mornings. What a gem of a place. Great food and a great atmosphere inside, lovely old photos all over the walls. You will not be disappointed!

I have been going to Terry's (along with work colleagues) for a few years and have always enjoyed the food. Today was no exception. However, my friends and I were very unhappy when we it came to paying the bill. The menu on the website lists the Smithfield at £9.50, whereas we were charged £12.50 (as per the "new" restaurant... A good address for a genuine English breakfast. The portions are generous and tasty. I bit off more than I could chew.

At Terry's we pride our self on only using quality locally sourced produce. The ethos at Terry's is to provide good honest food in an inviting friendly manner . Our meats come from smithfield meat market (where Terry used to work prior to the cafe) and our fresh produce comes from the famous Borough market. More recently in 2011 we introduced our coffee machine to the forecourt of our shop We enjoy a good relationship with Monmouth coffee co who have supplied us from the outset. We bake our own fresh pastries on the premises daily. Lunch time you can enjoy one of our home cooked daily specials from £8.00, such as "Toad in the hole ", sausage & herb pie, Traditional Roast dinners or Fish and chips, all cooked the premises and cooked to our own families recipes. Home cooking at its best! If your looking for a michelin star rated restaurant your in the wrong place, if its a Traditional English cafe, serving unpretentious good valued food and service look no further.

In 2015 we launched our own brand of tea ...Terry's Tea , London's noted cup of tea since 1982 , pure unblended , fully traceable ceylon tea , available in store , on the Terry's cafe & Present London websites . Available in English Breakfast (Cylon Black ) . Earl Grey . Green tea & Jasmine . Chamomile .London's morning pride coming soon .
