A great night out, although it is expensive. We had a groupon deal but service is added for waiting staff and performers and the wine is not cheap. The deal was about £60 but the bill was nearer to £90 pp. But it was a great fun night with good service and food.

I decided to take a friend here for his birthday dinner. Having eaten out together in many formal restaurants I though it would be fun to try Circus. We arrived mid-week at 7.15pm which was just as the first show started, so we had some entertainment straight away to set the mood. The short bursts of 'circus acts' were clever,... More

The first glance as we jumped out of the cab was enticing, a plain black entrance made for a mysterious start! I had dressed up a little but upon arriving felt I should have maybe gone a bit more out there. We were greeted by a few friendly members of staff and taken to our table that had been booked... Positives - exciting buzz initially, food was quite nice and the hostess and waiter were good. Negatives - dull entertainment, by the time we had eaten our starter and been served our main meal we had only seen one act. All four acts were acrobats, two of them I believe were the same lady, it did not reflect the variety... More

If you want something different but not bothered about the price then go to Circus. The entertainment was okay but the Cafe Royale was better. The food was better at Circus but quite pricey, for example to have a glass of Prosecco is £8 and a bottle is £40, it's your friends that make the night with good chin wagging... More

Friday night and date night! A very professional and welcoming start to the evening. The doorman was very polite and that set the tone for the evening. Food was good and there was no rush to order or finish. The acts were good however a bit more often would be great. Really wanted to see juggling and a clown, if... More

Novel dining experience with some great entertainment but quality food to go with it. Probably not somewhere you would go back to but well worth a trip with a group of friends.

This place is truly incredible! It is expensive but in my opinion if you are looking for a restaurant that's unique, high end without being pretentious and offers great service then check this place out! It's a very short walk from Covent Garden and from the doorman to the attentive staff- it was great and the performances were fantastic! Great... More

Despite the pricey food, it is a great evening out! Where you get good food with a fantastic night out watching live circus performances every half an hour. Truly an amazing dining experience, and every day the acts are different! Absolutely love it!

Description
Circus is an innovative combination of West End cocktail bar and cabaret restaurant set in vibrant Covent Garden. The restaurant boasts a highly praised Pan Asian dinner menu, created and overseen by the revered chef Andrew Lassetter. The stylish surrealist interior, formulated by iconic British designer Tom Dixon, transports guests into a decadent world of glamourous escapism from the moment they enter. For those looking for a drinks or dinner venue in Covent Garden to escape the mundaneness of the outside world, then Circus is ideal; the cocktails are heavenly and the dinner menu will delight even the most discerning of palates. As evening falls, the venue springs to life and the spectacle begins as diners sip exotic punches and cocktails. West End London is synonymous with theatre and drama, so it is fitting that Circus hosts complementary cabaret style entertainment at centre-stage of the venue. The charming and mind bendingly skillful acts appear in little bursts throughout the night to entertain and delight. After dinner, the adventures continue as the music is turned up and improptu dancing often occurs. With knowledgable cocktail bartenders furnishing guests with cleverly crafted drinks late into the night, diners and drinkers alike can relax for an entire evening, with a seamless transition from bar to dining room to dance-floor.
