Centrally located in Bloomsbury, this chain coffee and pastry spot can consistently be counted on as a warm and welcoming stop. Good prices. Good value. Courteous staff.

I cannot fault the service here, it's great. (It is near to UCL's main campus so I suspect they are used to students). And the hot chocolate is honestly amazing!

The pastries look totally divine, but I just needed a quick snack. I picked up the Chicken Caesar Salad on a baguette and it was delicious. Very nice servers and lovely atmosphere. I would love to go back and try more. Very convenient to my hotel and to the Goodge Street tube stations.

If you want to avoid your hotel's breakfast it's a right place. Good coffee, good croissant, what else do you need?

Everything you need to know is in the title of my review. Quick table service for lunch is a big plus, but the food was just ok. Nothing to write home about, nothing to really complain about. We had poached eggs on toast, lasagne, and chicken caesar salad. The atmosphere was quite nice and I could imagine that with a... More

I used to like the original PV in Soho, but since the brand was monetised by Luke Johnson into a chain of cafes things are maybe not so good. The food, cakes & coffee are average and perhaps a little expensive, but at this branch at least the staff are always polite and attentive. If only the nosh was better!

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
