Smooth service, rich English food, and a memorable cheese cart! Do arrive hungry as the 3 course meal is de rigor.

Afternoon tea in Goring does not require recommendations. Because this is one of the best in the world of such events. The sandwiches melted in the mouth, the freshest scones and cakes were tender, Bollinger Rose enchanting and backed up by the magical service of...More

This was our second visit to the Goring dining room and again what a treat. The surroundings and the service was excellent and the food most enjoyable. This is definitely our favourite place to eat in London.

What has happened to The Goring Dining Room and Bar? Have been many times and service always great and food good. We took an elderly friend there for lunch last week at her request. Service in the bar absolutely chaotic, and lunch in the restaurant...More

On a very brief visit to London I had to pop into my favourite hotel - if only on this occasion for drinks in the Bar and then dinner with an old friend. The whole experience was a delight as always, but there were just...More

Afternoon tea is not worth 108 pounds ($145) for two people! I thought we would only be charged half that since we shared one tower. It’s only tea, sandwiches, scones and a few desserts. I would not go back and I would not recommend this...More

Greatly enjoyed our dinner here our last night in London, from the attentive staff to the excellent balanced flavours and fresh ingredients to the soothing, attractive dining room. The Smoked Garlic Truffle Risotto starter was superb. The Eggs Drumkilbo are actually not an egg dish...More

The restaurant doesn't open until 6pm, and the theatre (Hamilton) said to be at the door no later than 7pm, so we were worried we wouldn't have enough time. We needn't have worried. Unrushed but 100% efficient service meant we had a perfect meal. Two...More

Yet another visit to this wonderful restaurant in the gorgeous Goring Hotel. The special lunch offer – 3xcourses plus a glass of very good Champagne - is exceptional value. We took the pre-lunch Champagne served with delicious complimentary canapés, in the sunshine, in the beautifully...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

There's no need to book; you just walk in whether you are resident or not. If you are a bigger party you would need to book. For safety I suggest you call the Dining Room

Yes you can, but it may be a bit short notice for Easter now, I know they are very busy on holidays. Good Luck, you won't regret it if you get in.
