I took my fiancé for lunch here on her birthday today to find a mixed experience. Good meat and like the gimmick of cooking it yourself. However visiting Steak and Co on Garrick Street was possibly the worst customer service I've experienced to date. Staff were rude and inattentive. It took 20 + mins on arrival to take a drink... Um I've had better and cheaper steakhouses. The meat was a little tough for my liking. They bring the meat out to you cooked rare on a sizzling plank and you season it and cook to your liking. Eh? Oh and what a jacked potato? A knock off baked potato :)

Lets start by saying this is not cheap. The plus side is it's not really expensive by London standards, but the food is amazing. The steak is bought to you sealed on a hot stone and you place this in a dish cut off a slice at a time and cook it to your own taste using the seasonings provided. Quality... More

Went here before a trip to the theatre. Ordered the fillet steak with a side of fries. Steak was very good quality. You cook it yourself on a hot stone slab they serve it with. Nice to have the novelty of cooking your own steak and eating it sizzling hot but your sides do go cold by the time you're... More

Popped in as most other places were full or queuing to get in. Friendly meet and greet, table found nice and quickly. Food was good, slight disappointment in the number of prawns in the spicy prawn starter, compared to the bowl of calamari but still very good. I would recommend the belly pork, very tasty. Music a little loud for... More

Having never been to a steak and co, I didn't know what to expect, we went purely on the reviews from trip advisor. Was really impressed. We thought we had booked, but found out they don't take bookings (even though there is a booking facility on the website) but it didn't matter at 3pm on a Saturday, they had a... More

Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. If you are in Leicester Square for dinner it is perfect as it is just off the main square. I recommend the Chicken Carolina, it is so good! If you don't drink alcohol they have a great soft drink I would recommend; Pomegranate and Elderflower cordial with soda water.

At Steak & Co. Quality runs through our veins, we are so proud of everything we do, we have our logo etched into the restaurants nuts and bolts, stamped onto our butter lids and our training manuals deserve a place in the Tate Modern as works of art. We cater for the most dedicated carnivore with the Steak side of our menu and those who are looking for something different in our & Co. Side of the menu. We serve only the finest steak, which has been carefully selected and prepared by our master butchers before being served to you on a sizzling hot steak stone, to cook to your personal perfection. The steaks are first caramelized on our chargrill to seal in the flavour then you choose an infused butter, a salt or shake and a sauce as a final accompaniment. Our three restaurants are all in Londons West End with our largest restaurant on the corner of Irving Street and Charing Cross Road just off Leicester Square, Our St Martins Lane and Garrick Street restaurants are closer to Covent Garden, they are great locations to relax while watching the crowds hurry by.

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
