Very impressive menu and decor with good staff. Very intimate which could work against you if you have a noisy table next to you. Had the sampler dumplings platter as entree plus 3 mains which was more than adequate as had to share the whisky dessert. A lovely evening all round.

I remember going to Hakkasan the first time, and leaving very excited. It was something new and something very refreshing. The food came well presented and was truly world-class. This history is in stark contrast to today's meal which had an "industrial" feel to it. Staff looked unexcited and the food was ordinary and the presentation uninspiring. We ordered a... More

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food, amazing cocktails. Best Asian food I have ever had. Top rating, would love to go back again soon. Has a bit of a younger edgier atmosphere, so great for a more lively fine-dining experience.

I loved the Hanway Place Hakkasan when I last visited and was really looking forward to visiting the Mayfair restaurant for an early evening family meal last week. We arrived on time at 7pm and were told we have 2 hours at the table - for 6 people paying circa £200 a head that is not good enough. The food... More

We we're a big group (40+ persons) and I think everyone really enjoyed the great food. The atmosphere is a bit like a night club which I thought was nice but some people might have an issue with the high level of music. Beside from that (something that I did not personally bother with) the food experience was superb!

A group of four of us went here for a late lunch. We were treated like royalty and the food was to die for! Particularly the dim sum to start and the dessert (apple crumble). Expensive but worth it! Great food, location and service. Will definitely go back.

What can I say about Hakkasan. It's one of the nicest meals I've very had and fully deserves it's title of one of the best restaurants around. The dim sum ( signature dish ) is a must and we has some tea smoked ribs that were absolutely delightful. Make no mistake when I sat this restaurant will blow your socks... More

Now this is a place i go to for dinner and while the food is great it sets you back a few bucks. But then I discovered that they have a lunch menu for 38 pounds that includes a cocktail, dim sum, main course and desert. With excellent choices and generous helpings, this is a deal that cannot be beat... More

Hakkasan Mayfair is truly one of the most upmarket oriental restaurants you could ever have the pleasure of visiting. The class of the restaurant is evident upon arrival, as the simple yet elegant decor is a real focal point, ever so slightly hampered by the fact that the lighting is incredibly dim, although this does add to the dramatic ambiance... Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
