Kids's loved their meals and we were happily surprised. There may be a lot of these around London, but the drinks were great and we enjoyed the ease of eating so close to the theatre. The kids especially loved the Pop-Rocks served on ice cream...More

My friend and I went for a meal here before going to The Globe theatre. We got a bit lost and so arrived late at the restaurant and our booked table had been given away as they thought we weren't coming. The restaurant was busy...More

We weren't expecting much except for a quick Italian dinner at reasonable prices before going to the Globe for a play. The food was much better than expected -- salad entree, special lamb kabob, and their pasta dishes. Service was good. Make a reservation online...More

After theater we were passing by the river and we saw zizzi. It was second floor. We wait for a table like 5 min. They were very busy but quality of service and food was excellent. I will come back.

Went at 6pm on Thursday evening on a hot day. Great view of the Thames from our table and the food was well presented and the menu was interesting. Reasonable value considering the modest size of the portions. Would go again.

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond

foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

Description
At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Just a short walk from the famous Globe Theatre, our Bankside restaurant offers a nice rest for the weary London sightseers and stunning river views while you dine. The illustrations decorating the walls throughout the restaurant were inspired by the surrounding area - a hub of urban skateboard culture that involves spirit, music and fashion, illustrated by the artist Matthew Brooks. Look out for loads of other interesting details including skateboard decks, modern art and vespa scooters.
