We visited for lunch and chose this as a change from Pizza Express, which we usually eat at when attending productions at the Globe Theatre. Nice view, but challenging seats at the window where anyone of any height will surely bump their heads on the...More

Visited with a voucher but would happily return again and pay. The food was lovely and the service was great. We loved the restaurant itself - it’s designed to be like a long boat on the river. The atmosphere inside and the view looking out...More

More often than not we use this restaurant when we visit London. We love the view over the Thames & along the South Bank. The staff were very attentive, restaurant warm & friendly as always. Our favourite dish seemed to have changed the recipe slightly...More

Service ok, great location.... but the pizza doesn’t match the two above. Very basic pizza with flavorless mozzarella and tomato sauce. Moreover my girlfriend took the gluten free option for the pizza and it was neither handmade, but it was one of those you buy...More

We were looking for a meal before going to the Globe Theatre, and this restaurant was right on the water nearby. Great charcuterie to start, and great pizza too.

Hey, I’ve recently just visited this restaurant for a lunch with my family. I couldn’t expect anything more. Manager was very friendly and helpful. Great place, lovely food, accompanied by a very welcoming service. Definitely will be returning sometime soon.

Last Saturday was wet and we had been walking for the best part of an hour by this time really ready for refuelling. Looked in at Zizzi, and it looked extremely busy, about 230pm. We ended up with a good window seat ...very cosy. Food...More

The restaurant offers a really beautiful view as it is literally next to the Thames on the busy Southbank! Make sure you book a table to get the best view. The food is good and worth the price that we paid. The only negative factor...More

Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard,
the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond
any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some
time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved
browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street,
foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old
foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks
of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Just a short walk from the famous Globe Theatre, our Bankside restaurant offers a nice rest for the weary London sightseers and stunning river views while you dine. The illustrations decorating the walls throughout the restaurant were inspired by the surrounding area - a hub of urban skateboard culture that involves spirit, music and fashion, illustrated by the artist Matthew Brooks. Look out for loads of other interesting details including skateboard decks, modern art and vespa scooters.
