We dined here on the last night of a very long European trip and it was one of the best meals we had the entire time. It was very high quality and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The service was excellent, and from the moment we walked in everyone was courteous, polite and solicitous. Multiple people took... More

Stayed in the hotel and didn't want to venture far for a meal so thought we would give it a try. There was a large group having a celebration in the restaurant which was great as they had live music ... Bluesy jazzy lounge music which added to the whole experience. We both had the seven course vegetarian set option... More

Went for dinner there this week, with 3 Chinese (Mainland) colleagues. Reception was fine, order was taken efficiently. Food was very nice, although a little expensive. Enjoyable but I wouldn't hurry back.

I eat here quite often. It's not a magnificent culinary experience but way more than adequate and alwsys enjoyable. Good value too, especially the prix fixe lunch. Plus, service is good, the room is vast and high ceilinged, and the tables are well spaced. I especially like the crispy squid starter, and sometimes have it as a main course. In... More

I went to the Grand Imperial for my birthday meal with a large group of friends. The atmosphere was the best thing about the restaurant. The restaurant was very elegant and a lovely choice for my birthday meal. The food was lovely, however I would not say that it was the best Chinese food ever. The staff were very nice... More

We went on Chinese New Years Day. It was pretty packed and busy, but service was still very good. Other tables had ordered the 'go fish' ritual round plate where everyone lifts up with chopsticks and says positive things about the coming year. Fun! We had dim sum. Wonderful, fresh. The turnip croqette melted in the mouth. Duck spring rolls... More

Not actually a massive fan of Chinese food but this place was very, very good. We had the Silver menu and it hit the mark. Service great and not to in your face. Def will be going back. There were also plenty of Chinese people eating there so you know the food must be authentic.

The restaurant is in a great location being part of the Grosvenor Hotel at Victoria station. There have been other restaurants in this venue previously. I was disappointed with the experience. I thought the good was expensive and the staff not that attentive. There were only a handful of tables occupied and that could be reflective of the value for... More

When staying at the Grosvenor hotel, I tried this restaurant close by the lobby. Food quality is good/very good, with variety in the plates. Side dishes portions are huge. Service was good, and incredibly fast, despite the fact that all tables were occupied on a busy night. The waitress helped to choose among the plates, and was very kind. This... More

We had a birthday meal on the 21st Jan. Our daughter has a nut allergy. For her starter she ordered crispy seaweed. It came with a generous sprinkling of nuts, we asked for a replacement and explained that just taking the nuts off wasn't acceptable. She had ordered stir fried tofu and mixed vegetables for her meal, and yes, on... More
