We went there for dinner and the food was outstanding! We had the lamb special on the menu and it was utterly delicious. Lovely pub with friendly and helpful bar staff. Thank you - we will definitely be back!

I eat here fairly regularly. It is consistently good pub grub. From the calamari, to the shrimp and avocado on toast to the chicken and chorizo risotto. Prices are reasonable and usually the clientele is a mix of old and young enjoying a drink or meal, from the local area. Sometimes, unfortunately, you get the pretentious youth who speak to... More

Quick dinner stop with my wife before seeing our kid perform at St Luke's next door - we were impressed. Good beer, friendly staff, an interesting 'other era' atmosphere of a few old Chelsea horse racing types around. We had a drink and simple but well made meal (scampi, nice fries with some lovely veg sides) and enjoyed an hour... More

A real local treat. Although I live overseas I maintain a home in Chelsea and this is the place! If you are interested in horse racing this is for you. Great gastro pub food, great staff, great service and a friendly boss. A place to go before popping the short question!

Just popped in for a pint and ended up having lunch. The food was amazing and portions are massive. Great little PH and well worth a visit.

If you have never had a half pint of sausages, a pint of Landlord and a list of mini bar food goodies, you've missed the Sydney Arms. Like most Chelsea pub, it is crowded and cramped but in this case, there are nooks and crannies that you can reserve and enjoy the rest squashed next to the bar. The pub... More

We had lunch with some friends... it was a great London afternoon so we found a table outside. The food was good but service wasn't the best (not bad... average). The best was the outside area, but if we had to go inside I would have gone somewhere else.

I visited this Pub on Sunday 24th April 2016 to watch Leicester City play Swansea (Leicester won 4 - 0) I drank Timothy Taylor €4.50 a pint. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and there were plenty of TV'S playing the football.

we ate here as we were visiting the Brompton hospital opposite and it was convenient. given all of the other lovely places to eat near by it was a mistake. drinks ok but not cheap. ambience ok. food horrid. My sister ordered steak and ale pie - it was warm not hot when it arrived and the filling was over... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
