We had an excellent time at Palms of Goa. The food is very good and not expensive for what we got, and there is a big diversity of meals. The staff is very kind and thoughtful, and although we were a group of nine persons,...More

We booked a table for 6 at 6:30pm. When we arrived, it was deserted and I wondered why we had booked; by 8pm I understood why, as it was packed! Clearly a family-run restaurant - friendly and welcoming (our host, Eugene, obviously takes pride in...More

We visit this place for more than 12 years and never disapointed us. Goan food is tasty, very good. And this time we were delighted with a new menu where gluten free options were clearly shown (my wife is gluten intolerant). And that's almost everything!

We were surprised to find this gem of an Indian Restaurant across the street from our hotel. We’ve eaten Indian food from India to NYC and this is as good as it gets. The staff is professional and accommodating. We highly recommend eating there.

Went here for a curry fix. It was a nice cozy warm restaurant away from the London chill. The welcome was very friendly especially from the owner, Eugene, if I am spelling that right. The food was probably the best Indian food I have ever...More

Did some research and decided to take a punt on this restaurant and go a tube station further beyond the usual get offs- so worth it! Not a super trendy restaurant- no 'mood' lighting- all the better for it because they concentrate on 1st class...More

The food was really good, the owner super friendly and they were very flexible when it came to our orders (we could combine two starters without paying more). We would definetly come back!

Palms of Goa is a unique Indian restaurant, serving distinctly Goan cuisine. The history of this special branch of cooking reflects Goas Indian and Portuguese heritage - the main ingredients being coconut and spices, creating a flavoursome and distinctive taste. Located on Londons bustling New Cavendish Street, Palms of Goa is a popular place for business lunches and after-work meals. The rich red interior and delicious, healthy food make the experience of dining here a memorable one, and our favourite dishes include the Lamb Xacutti, a Goan dish prepared with coconut, vinegar and hot spices, and the restaurants renowned Pumpkin Curry. Palms of Goa has been in business for over 23 years, and is a favourite spot for Soho diners.
