I came with my friend to have a glass of wine and some food. One hour and a half before closing time they were saying that they were closing but people wanted to be served and there was a new big table... we realised that the big table was the manager's friends and they ordered everything that was left, even... Stopped here to have a drink one evening. Waited for the greeting staff but no one came. There were four people behind the bar taking pictures of wine bottles. I asked if we could go to a spare table and we're told curtly to wait for the greeter - they carried on taking pictures and made no attempt to assist... More

Went there on a Sunday afternoon with friends for a cup of coffee. Nice place and really buzzy, with good coffee and really good price given the location. On the bad side the customer Service was the worst. Very unfriendly staff and rude. When I ordered the guy was not even talking to me. They brought the coffee in paper... More

We arrived at the cafe at a very busy time but we were lucky enough to find a place to sit. There is one thing that always strikes me as odd, having to queue at the counter to order and sometimes this means, having to wait outside in the cold. The coffee was good but must be drunk quickly because,... More

Wow. I can honestly say that I walked in here and had the best latte I've ever had in the UK, possibly ever (I've traveled to many countries) So good that I ordered it again later that day. They know what they are doing and the place is very professional and easy going

I'm a foreigner so my English is not perfect. Probably my English was little bit weird to server. I heard the server who took a order from me talk about my mistake to his colleague just behind me. It was terrible experience. I won't go there again. Never.

With so many coffee shops to choose from in London I suppose it could be easy to be over critical but this place just doesn't cut it. Far too many seats so its cramped, ages to get served and no phone signal. I have been twice & it was like it both times, I won't be going a third.

Notes is a busy, buzzy little café come wine bar, as famous for its earthy roasted coffee as it is for the range of affordable wines it has on offer. It’s food menu is limited to sandwiches, salads, and pastries…of which we regretted trying; I hear their sandwiches are good though. I am not big on wine so I tried... More

Great coffee and plenty of food options if you prefer to sit and eat. A warm and bustling place it's a pleasure to step into on a cold day!

We called in here on our way to Covent Garden , really should have walked a bit further to better coffee shops, I ordered hot chocolate which was luke warm. Even asking for them to remake it was met with glares like I was an alien? Sorry but you need to accept if something is wrong, it is not always... More
