We four couples from around England converged on the Jugged Hare for its 12 noon opening. We had a reserved table upstairs. Maarja brought us a continuous supply of tap water along with good drinks and excellent food - pies or Sunday roasts. Maarja let...More

We ate here several times while visiting London. The food was great, the decor was very nice, great selection of beers and wine and excellent staff. After the first day they remembered us and knew what we drank. Felt very much at home

Starting in London on busyness for a few days needed somewhere for evening meal. This place was a few yards from my accommodation. The staff are friendly, engaging and attentive. The food was superb and the prices extremely reasonable. Highly recommended.

Looking for a pub that doesn't look like a pub from the outside - specialises in a variety of pies. Staff are absolutely fantastic and genuinely friendly. The manager "Grazina" leads by example. We found the place because there was no one looking after us...More

Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Description
Built in the 1800s and originally a branch of National Westminster Bank, The Jugged Hare opened in November 1996. It enjoys a prime position just moments away from Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the King’s Road. The Jugged Hare takes its name from the traditional British dish where the hare is hung and then slowly cooked in an earthenware pot. We’ve adapted this dish to create our own Jugged Hare Pie, gently braising the meat with celery, carrots and onions in a rich port and redcurrant gravy. As a Fuller’s Ale & Pie House, we are famous for selling a range of fantastic homemade pies and perfectly conditioned award-winning ales, along with a range of pub classics. We’ve always got at least four cask-conditioned ales on tap and we brew them just six miles from here, at Fuller’s in Chiswick, London’s last remaining traditional family brewery.
