4 very large meals for just over £30 - can't really complain. Good portions. Good atmosphere. Would go again to fill up

Stopped in for lunch one afternoon to watch the football. It's in a good location (and has a great name) with fairly priced meals and a good selection of beers & ales. Spacious with plenty of TVs it's a good place to spend an arvo or night.

This Pub was just a couple blocks from where we were staying. We went there for breakfast the first morning. Breakfast was great and so reasonable. Big huge breakfast for 5.99 pounds! Eggs rarebit for less than 3 pounds! Delicious. We ended up eating there a total of four different times. The only time we were disappointed was on a... More

My wife and I went here in mid-February 2017 and we were very impressed. The bartender was very welcoming and my wife loved the layout of their menu as she's vegetarian and there is a good-sized vegetarian section on it. The red onion and mushroom burrito was very nice, but go easy on the side orders, as they are quite... More

My son and I visited this pub twice in two days trying to get something to eat. Twice we were told they were not preparing food. The first time we left and went elsewhere. The second time we 'negotiated' an appetizer since we were tired and did not want to look for another place to eat. Unbelievable that a restaurant... More

Worth missing and not just because it was full of football fans-chain pub, chain food, chain atmosphere; choice of beers limited too

I have to agree with one of the reviewers who said he used to go regularly to the pub but that standards had slipped badly since the previous manager left, taking with him efficient and friendly staff. When I went last Sunday (5 March 2017) with my nephew and wife, we were treated to a long wait of well over... More
