We hired Akash out for a private function after a funeral. Akash went out of the its way to ensure that everything was well taken care of - from bringing food through at specific times through to accommodating certain requests by guests on the day. The food they served was excellent and we were very pleased with not just the service, quantity and quality of the food but also how they went out of their way on a difficult day to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thank you to the team there.

Apart from the best food, the service from Muhon was excellent, friendly and he always remembers customers which makes you feel inviting, respected and like a valued customer. I love going there with my best friend and will certainly be spreading the word. Good on ya Muhon for bringing the great service 😊👍🏾

Delicious food, staff and regulars were extremely friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough!
They don’t serve wine but encouraged us to pop to Aldi along the street to get a bottle and they would serve it to us.

First time back at Akash since before the Pandemic. This was my favourite Indian Restaurant in this part on N/W London. Unfortunately they have made some changes for the worse in my opinion. No alcohol on sale, although you can BYOB that doesn't suit me! I can't help thinking that this must have some effect on the takings. I totally respect and understand if this decision is made on the grounds of religion or the prohibitive cost of obtaining a license but nothing beats eating a great curry with a few beers to wash it down. Personally I don/t want the hassle of having to cart around beer or wine before I go to a Restaurant. Also they have removed the screens between the tables on the left which takes away the lovely sense of intimacy that used to exist, especially considering the location of the Restaurant, tucked away as it is. Having said that the food was as good as ever, although slightly smaller portions possibly. Again not sure if the lack of income from alcohol means economies must be made elsewhere. The service was good and the meal was reasonably priced. All in all I have to say that unfortunately the Akash will no longer be my first choice when I go for a curry.

We come to akash often as we live near. It has great authentic Bangladesh Indian food with fresh spices. Always tasty. And friendly staff. Highly recommended.

I have been to this place dozens of times and have still not found anything disappointing on the menu or a tastier Indian restaurant in London... I highly recommend the onion bhajis, aloo chaat and many of the starters, even if the main courses are equally delicious.

Just returned from a very positive experience at the Akash restaurant. Staff are polite and attentive. But the food is the star. Generous portions and excellent quality.

Traditional and authentic Indian food, which had not been anglicised. The owner was keen to impress and make us all feel very welcome. First time visit to the restaurant following a trip to Lord’s. We will return.

I visit Akash as much as I can and have only ever had great experiences. Indian is my favourite cuisine and this restaurant is a brilliant example of Indian cookery done really well. Last week when I visited they were completely full, but managed to make up a table outside for my guests and I. Great service, can't wait to go again.

Visited in the evening after a day at Lords cricket ground. Came with a friend who used to visit a lot a few years ago.
Service was ok as was the food, my friend however was not impressed and felt the food quality had deteriorated. The meat had not been marinated however the waiter stated it had!! It was ok but probably better curry houses close by.
