We've been here a few times for brunch and it has been great. Location, ambiance and service has always been very good. This time though I'm afraid service let them down with mistaken orders and then food delays. Annoying for this category of restaurant. Still, when it arrived, the food was really good and the service mishap won't stop us... More

It was quieter when we went in and glad we ended up sat near door so not too noisy. The food was great blueberry pancakes and creme fraiche I can recommend. But service became a bit slow when trying to pay

I'd advice to book in advance as the place is buzzing. Food is really good, had the schnitzel and the beef stroganoff (which was the best stroganoff I've tasted).

A fan of German cuisine, we had dinner here before our show in the West End. Excellent experience across the board! Service was quick and professional, food was delicious (my array of wursts was delicious!), and the setting was quite nice! Our Gruner Weltliner was not ideal as a sipping wine but as soon as we started having food with... More

Flew to London on early flight and decided to wait for breakfast until we got to the Delaunay. Welcome was proficient but could have been slightly warmer (we had not reserved). We were shown to a spacious table in the middle of the room. The breakfast menu was still being offered - it was about 10.15am. The menu is comprehensive... More

I've been to The Delaunay several times and always enjoyed it. My previous visit had been disappointing as there apparently was a computer breakdown on the morning. I reflected this in my review at the time and, to the restaurant's credit, the general manager contacted me to apologise and invite me back. That is the sign of a restaurant that... More

Nice atmosphere with a strong European feel, nice menu with plenty of selections. I particularly like the sausage menu and tried to types, both were really lovely. Would recommend as a great place for business lunches, will hope to visit again soon.

We liked the look and ambiance of this restaurant, had an aura of a restaurant from a bygone era .Shame about the food , and sporadic service .I can cope with inflated prices if the food is top notch , but on our experience it was second class , served in a sloppy manner , with no real interest to... I visited one cold and dreary Saturday in January for a birthday treat. The experience was a delight from beginning to end, with the sort of exceptional service you hope for in an establishment like this. The food was very good, and interesting because of the Viennese angle. We were warm, well looked after and absolutely stuffed by the end.... More

the ambiance and decoration are lovely. the food is delicious, the service can be a bit chaotic though but it did not really impact us. we loved it so much we did the brunch the following morning which was very good as well. their website is also very easy to use for booking.
