3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

most of the food were written in French in the menu, so, everything I ordered from starter to desert was different and worse than what I had expected; plus, very expensive. Not good service at table, and it was very rude that we were told to leave by one of the waiters because other people were coming.

We keep coming back to the Delaunay because it's a lovely experience: beautiful room, very good service, tasty middle-European comfort food - but the prices (at least on the a la carte menu)... £13 for a starter of beetroot and goat's cheese? £15 for a prawn cocktail? Hmmm.

Great service and breakfast cooked to perfection. We really liked the old style silverware and the good selection of breakfast options. Good coffee too!

My wife and I visited today before a matinee theatre visit. When we arrived at just after midday the restaurant was full. We were seated very promptly. we booked some weeks ago. I had Wiener Holstein, which was very good but the batter was slightly too thick, but a very generous portion . My wife had beef stroganoff and was... More

Great place pre theatre. Quick and efficient with a wide range of food from upmarket sandwiches to full on mains. Love the opulent setting too. A firm favourite

After a matinee, we went for an early evening dinner. Very welcoming and good menu. Wines a little pricey but v good - the Pittnauer Pinot Noir was lovely. Food was nicely served and portions are generous. Will return when next at a show.

Lovely, classic, German dishes that despite their price, were quite enjoyable. Items such as schnitzel and sausages were quite good and there was something for everyone.

After researching where we could find the best omelette Arnold Bennett in London and coming up with the Delaunay, we weren't disappointed! It was creamy, indulgent and delicious and went extremely well with a half bottle of Pommery Champagne! Service was friendly and the whole experience was extremely civilized. The restaurant was very busy and bustling but that just added... More

I recently invited my aunt and cousin for lunch at The Delaunay and we had a great time and enjoyed lovely food. I returned alone for an early supper yesterday and it didn't disappoint. It can be a bit noisy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Great service too. Many thanks :)

We visited to celebrate my husbands birthday after visiting the Theatre.........we were welcomed by attentive staff and shown to our table. My husband has allergies to certain foods but these had already been noted by all the staff that looked after us which was re assuring, we enjoyed a delightful meal in relaxing surroundings and will be returning when we...
