Stopped in London for a couple of days on my way to a meeting in Portugal. Decided to try this new place (new to me, at least) while in town. I was not disappointed. Ambience is "cool hip." Music is low key jazz/house. Service is abundant. The food was excellent. Elegantly presented, creative, delicious. Set menu only: either 7 course... More

I had been meaning to go since the restaurant opened but my first visit will probably be my last. We had the tasting menu and with two carafes of medium priced wine ended up spending £240 for two of us. For that sort of money I expect exceptional food and exceptional service and while we all enjoyed the food to... More

Ok so this place is expensive Michelin star quality food. Tasting menu plus wine comfortably £100 a head. For that kind of money I expect exceptional- what I received was good at times very. Fennel salad, smoked eel, sea bass, chocolate ganache all super. Pear salad, duck soup left a little bit wanting. Pear salad was not bursting with fruity... More

Had lunch here recently. Service was excellent, charming and helpful. Tuna carpaccio was exceptional. Bread was delicious. Cassava was interesting but I can live without it! Sole and prawns was a pleasant enough dish but not enough depth of flavour. The rosewater and orange crème doughout was ok but heavy and rather disappointing. I wonder whether the concentration is more... More

I recently went to Dabbous and had no problem making a last minute reservation for early on a Monday night (as you might expect). The first thing that strikes you about the restaurant is the decor and how well appointed it is in a classic industrial style. I opted for the Tasting Menu with the wine pairing in order to... More

Great food, interesting selection of ingredients. Very attentive service, but restaurant had a nice relaxed vibe. Left very full.

Went there July 2016 to treat my wife for her birthday and we were not disappointed. We had the full tasting menu and each course wowed us and kept us guessing how they created it. The flavours were beautiful, intense and interesting. Was looking forward to going there again this summer but have just read it is closing down :(... More

Visited here for a date night treat and we were not disappointed. When going to such similar establishments, I'm not a huge fan of a la carte menu's as I hate making decisions. So I loved the fact their are only two options 4x course dinner menu or 7/8 course degustation style tasting menu We decided on the 4 course... More

The food was brilliant only let down by the front of house and the service- why do restaurants think they can get away with rotten service!! The waiters were not managed properly - we purchased a very expensive wine which was dumped on our table and we poured it ourselves all evening - not a problem but not what I... More

Let me say from the outset that the food is interesting, original and of high quality. But for me at least the experience does not work: high end food, high prices in a canteen almost Soviet style Fritz Lang setting. For the fashionable this might be desirable. At these prices I want something more. I left the restaurant indifferent as... More
