This is a delightful small pub with a pleasant restaurant upstairs. Apparently it becomes very busy early evening and later, but at lunchtime there is plenty of room. Good choice of real ales and lagers in the pub before you retire upstairs for lunch. A...More

We chose this restaurant because it is directly across from the Noel Coward theater in London. The restaurant is upstairs from the pub. The 3 course pre-theater menu was nice, but we decided to order from the full menu. The food was well presented and...More

Trying out our "taste card" for the first time so randomly choose this pub. Conveniently situated between Covent Garden and Leicester Square, this looks like a typical British pub. First impressions, if I am honest, we're that it was a little drab. But as we...More

My husband loved his lamb chop and carmel toffee pudding - this was his favorite meal in London. Convenient, good service, great food. I recommend it. Get a booking - several groups were turned away the night we were there.

Delicious food, very friendly service and the pre-theatre menu is exceptionally good value. Unlike some set menus, you don't feel like you're getting second best. We had three courses including wine and service for two for around £55. Forget the more pretentious Green Man and...More

Friendly and welcoming staff, peaceful ambience, nice menu selection and wine list, tasty food, most tables at tables overlooking the street down below, and much more at a stone throw away from the busy Leicester Square Tube station. We tried their beer battered fish and...More

The restaurant is on the first floor above this pleasant, cosy pub opposite The Noel Coward Theatre. Above the pub it may be but we are talking far beyond pub grub here. For starters we had the 'special of the day' dressed crab which was...More

What a great discovery this pub dining room is. We went on Bank Holiday Monday at 5.30 for the pre theatre menu, althought the choice for this menu is limited the quality and value of the food is second to none. We started with the...More
