We turned up here one Saturday morning at around 11:00am and were quickly seated. The restaurant was busy, but our waitress was attentive. We both selected the Formule breakfast - I had the eggs royale and my companion the full English. While we waited, our coffee and orange juice arrived. We were offered refills, and we heard the staff conversing... More

I have come her about 5 times for breakfast, sometimes alone, sometimes with others, and each time all have found things they enjoyed. Not too expensive, reasonably fast, not noisy.

We love St. Christopher's Place for dining, especially when the weather is good enough for an al fresco meal and people watching. We stopped for a lunch. I had the Brettony Fish Stew and my husband had the grilled chicken with pommes frites. Both meals were very tasty and the portion sizes were good. Their prices were reasonable and they... More

Can't believe I've been going to the Wigmore Hall for years without ever finding this place. Clients took me here for lunch and it was excellent. I chose to eat from the set menu and had a salmon starter which was enjoyable but nothing special, but the cod goujons and French fries were a knock out. Piping out, masses of... More

I have been meaning to eat at a Cote for a while after I've been given numerous recommendations about their gluten free menu. I have to say it didn't disappoint, I had the chicken liver parfait followed by the belly pork and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and courteous I would definitely eat out at a Cote... More

Found this place while walking around Central...... Our brother in law who lives there invited us to try it, since it's one of his favorite places. Oh my was this place good. They had a set menu for lunch and at only 12 pounds we had a great healthy meal..... And so so delicious! The place was beautiful and clean... More

Cote have become popular. there is one Cote in almost every neighbouhood now. I like their rich menu which seems to have something from everyone. I enjoyed the dinner and so did all friends. The stake was very nicely cooked and the wine priced reasonably. Again the service can be slow. I do not know why but most of these... More

A good choice for lunch when shopping in central London. St Christopher's Place offers many eateries but we are always happy with the salads and steak frites on offer at Cote. Service is quick and efficient and the only downside is that the ceiling is rather low and hence the noise of a busy restaurant can be a little difficult.

We had dinner in a group of four on a Monday evening and having reserved a table for 6.30 we were still allowed to benefit from the special menu which expires at that time. The restaurant was almost full and quite noisy owing to the low ceilings. Food and drink served quickly by friendly and efficient staff - we had... More

I have been to a couple of cotes and the standards are very high at every one I've been to. I love their calamari. This one is down a side street off Bond Street and easily missed. Great food again

Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities.
Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
