I have tried gelato at several places in London and this is the best. It may be a little pricey, but the service is good and they are happy to give you tastes. It also includes indoor seating, which is a premium in London.

I found this place online after we'd been for a meal on the Southbank. We popped in for an icecream and we weren't disappointed! It's not cheap but you get what you pay for - real Italian icecream heaven. Try not to embarass yourself by making "Mmmmmm" noises!

This is the best ice cream I've ever had in this country. I was recommended this place by my brother who lives in London so my girlfriend and I went when visiting borough market. £4 gets you a regular 2-scoop cone which they pour liquid chocolate into (proper chocolate). I had Eaton mess and pistachio.

Best ice cream around - it really is good! Large variety of flavours and good location. Only down side is that the ice cream can be pricey, but it really is worth it.

In fewest words possible. This is the most amazing, awesome, super delicious gelato or ice cream (for some) place in London. All Italian crew too. Coffee is on the spot too. They also do frozen yogurt but something that I have not tasted yet. So get here and enjoy the best.

This ice cream is soooo good! it is super creamy and their chocolate sauce is very good too, even if you go for a cone they offer to put some inside the cone! Even the 3bis cookie is good, totally recommend it!

We came here and the place was super busy. The attendants didn't know how to keep cool and provided a very rushed service. The texture of the gelato was good but I lean more towards creative and unique flavors which they didn't offer.

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
