A tragedy! One of my favourite places to kick off an afternoon off. Delicious and inventive light meals, great coffee, that glorious sage and onion scone with apple jelly, those wonderful homemade sandwich biscuits and in such a nice place. Went the other day to...More

Hidden away on Sicilian Avenue, the most friendly, homely cafe offering both traditional and vegetarian fare. A hotchpotch of tables and chairs, friendly but not obsequious staff - peaceful and calm - a home from home to stop and revive. I had breakfast - green...More

Had a wonderful lunch, really good value by any standards, let alone in central London. Charming and efficient service and cool surroundings. Seems to be an independent which makes a real change for the Holborn area. Highly recommended.

Great location but terrible food. Dull English fare with stodge as the basis. It is influenced by 1950s school dinners without the meat. An unimaginative menu. I chose what I thought the least offensive. Cole slaw, garlic potatoes and apples. The first was tasteless, the...More

Superb food and such great value for money. Interesting vegetarian combinations. We had the set menu which came with a glass of wine. Enjoyed the concept of the place and would definitely visit again!

The last year I spent almost 6 weeks eating in this place and believe me it's one of the best places for eating in London. They have plenty of different vegetarian options; I loved the sandwiches! This is the perfect expression of organic food, and...More

Had breakfast here which was delightful! I loved everything about Orchard, the decor, the lovely staff, the crockery, but especially the food. It's lovely and relaxing going to a dedicated vegetarian restaurant as I always worry that meaty places don't take enough care to keep...More

Found this whilst in Holborn, I agree with the other reviewers... Orchard deserves to be better know. This is a great vegetarian restaurant with seating outside.. In a very picturesque street and superbly rustic inside. We sat outside and there is little noise even with...More

Inner London’s busiest streets crisscross quiet
cobbled lanes for an effect that can be urbane or
quaint – or an intriguing blend of both – depending on
the particular corner you turn. Due to its especially
convenient location, bustling Holborn hosts an
excellent range of hotels, eateries, and shops to suit
practically any taste or budget. With major
