I'd dinner in this pub tonight since I saw good reviews in Tripadvisor and I have to say that it is a nice place to take a fish&chips and a beer. It is a pub with really nice atmosphere. Would return,

Came in and ordered the Sunday special. Pork steak, super dry, not seasoned at all. Horrible pie... not appealing vegetables... Fantastic fresh salad! and nice staff... Stairs up are difficult if you're over 40....

Our expectations were high Very nice, old pub; a known place with a history. Our expectations were high but staff very rude on the day we were there; poor bar service.

Stopped here for a late breakfast on Sunday morning. They were only two minutes away from finishing breakfast service and said it was no problem to order. The full English was amazing and the veggie version was just as good. Our teenagers had sausage sandwich...More

The servers wear shirts that say Ale & Pie which is part of a chain of places. In fact we inadvertently went to another place called The Admiralty that has the same exact menu. But I digress. The atmosphere is amazing and if you want...More

Was taking a leisurely stroll through London and stopped in for a pint to get out from an afternoon rain shower. The place was vibrant, the staff very courteous, and the food fantastic.

Traditional London pub just across the street from Parliament and Big Ben. With beautiful wood panelling, parquet flooring, ornate ceilings and leather chairs throughout, it has the sort of comfortable ambience that Winston Churchill and other statesmen would have felt at home in. Four of...More

Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

I have my receipt and they did add 12.5 % service to the bill, but you are not required to pay that. However the service was good there so we chose to pay the total.
