I have 1 start as the food was ok. We arrived and were seated straight away, which was the only good thing about our experience. Both waiters in our section ignored us for over half an hour and proceeded to serve tables on both sides of us. After calling one of them over and asking to be served we were... More

I visited here previously and hadn't thought much of the service, I was really disappointed, especially since Jamie is my 'Hero' but I since visited again on a trip to London and I have to say it was outstanding. The atmosphere was brilliant, the quality and variety of food amazing and the service first class. Will be back!

Very pleasant staff and prices are very reasonable for families. They have set menus with a variety of choices. It was a bit disappointing the burger choice did not include fries. Recommend you reserve a table

We came here in the early evening. Despite being really busy the staff were attentive and friendly. There was a good choice of food which arrived well presented and hot. It was all really tasty. Wheelchair access This was great; the staff were helpful and found an appropriate table. There was an accessible toilet that was well-designed, although I couldn't... More

We had lunch at Jamie's Italian on New Year's Eve. The first thing that struck us was the amount of families with young children that were dining there. We ordered a simple salad, meat balls and lamb chops. Our 5-year-old scoffed down the meat balls and everything else was fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and even... More

The food was nice, but nothing to shout about as it was pretty basic. The menu was very limited... an Italian restaurant with no pizza option?!? Not happy!!

We pre-booked here for a Sunday night and after looking at the menu online, we were looking forward to a pizza. However, when we arrived, there was no pizza on the menu which is disappointing for an Italian. For starters, we had the nachos which are more like cheesy ravioli. They were good. Mains were sausage pasta and a burger.... More

Enter a fastmoving, filled restaurant, where the atmosphere is buzzing and people engage in happy concersation. The food is great and the staff are friendly. Prices are good! Yet, if you fancy a romantic and slow dinner, where the food Can Be enjoyed passionately - this is NOT the place.

Average burger and horrible chips - really disappointed. Thank goodness the prosecco was alright! Not what I was expecting from Jamie's.

Description
JAMIE'S ITALIAN COVENT GARDEN A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie's Italian has won thousands of fans for its delicious and affordable food since launching their first restaurant in Oxford in May 2008. The Jamie's Italian menu is based on dishes you'd find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss. The family-friendly restaurants are all about serving up rustic, Italian food made using the best possible ingredients, plus fresh pasta that's made on-site every day, and an award-winning children's menu, too. Jamie's Italian Covent Garden, right in the heart of central London, is perfectly located for the West End's theatre-goers, weekend shoppers, tourists and locals alike. The restaurant is small but perfectly formed, and always buzzing with activity - make sure you stop by and soak up the atmosphere while tucking into some delicious food and a cocktail or two. They open up the outdoor space in the summer too, which is perfect for relaxed lunches and al fresco dinners when the weather's fine.
