Tucked away off the main road but definitely worth a visit. Service was great and they didn't rush us. Food was tasty and perfect size portions. Coffee was also good. Overall a cosy cafe and great value for money
This the sort of place that you remember fondly - for the great location on a sunny corner, the welcoming cosy interior and for the tasty vegetarian dishes (chalked up on a blackboard). No frills and no messing around - just high quality and attention to detail. Long may it prosper and enrich the lives of those fortunate enough to... More
They never let you down at Blue brick cafe! Another lovely lunch of tomato and ginger curry. Although chick pea stew or haloumi salad looked good too.
Really good & fresh varied vegetarian and vegan menu, relaxed atmosphere and pleasant staff on a weekday lunchtime. I went twice in one week and both times had the same halloumi salad special because it was just so tasty - next time will look forward to trying something different.
Homemade salads, soups, stews and curries are consistently lovely. Also a range of veggie breakfasts. They always do fresh juices like grapefruit or apple and ginger. Also amazing cakes: pistachio and lime was yummy, as was Oreo cake.
Cosy and too small for buggies which makes for a very grown up environment where you can enjoy a delicious cooked breakfast or a hearty lunch. I don't believe it is open in the evening or that it sells alcohol.
If you enjoy vegetarian / vegan and taking a wander in East Dulwich, the Blue Brick Cafe is worth a stop over. Cosy cafe when not fully packed. Food is homemade and really fresh. Great for brunch before heading on to Dulwich Park.
