Came for breakfast as the hotel we were in was not good quality food. We were not disappointed, really tasty food and big portions. Well run restaurant with friendly staff. Will be back before we head home.

I had popped in earlier that morning and got a very good feeling about the café and decided to come back for breakfast. one criticism is that toast should have some colour on it and not resemble warm bread. But I digress, top marks fir...the food the service and the staff.More

A great cup of coffee, reasonably priced. Rapid service, efficient and friendly. Perfect while I waited for the Freedom Bookshop to open.

As an East Londoner and breakfast cafe addict i like to support local cafes. I have visited here before and found the menu good and the coffee excellent. I therefore recommended it to my grandad who was on a trip down from Scotland. He took...our son for breakfast there and they charted 9.50 for scrambied eggs and toast for a child! Its not the Ritz and is on a busy main road. He queried it and was told "that is the price read the menu first before you order. Post Covid London cafes need people to come and eat out. He wont be visiting again and I am posting here to give some feedback. It is a shame as I did quite like this cafe but could give very poor rating on this. I know it is not meant to be a kids diner but it needs to be better for kids otherwise lose custom and I cannot recommend it at moment. This sort of behaviour gets London a bad name with tourists. Reply would be appreciated.More

This cafe is an absolute gem and well worth a visit. The breakfasts are delicious and well presented and the coffee is excellent. Most importantly the staff make you feel very welcome. It’s well worth a train ride to visit this gem of a cafe.

Staying in Aldgate for a short visit and used nearby Dulce for breakfast croissants, late brunch with tasty croque-monsieurs, and coffees and cakes. Always friendly staff, with warm service and hot drinks.
