It's Soho, so being overpriced is a given - and this place is tiny, so getting a table in itself could be seen as a victory. There's no faulting the service, which was good humoured. Was the recommendation that the dishes are for sharing also...More

went for a pre-theatre meal. As we had not been there before the staff guided us through the menu advising on portions etc and even let us try a couple of wines to help us choose. Interesting and tasty food

Had a bit of trouble getting a booking in this place due to its popularity but well worth it in the end. Seated at the kitchen bar we got to chat with the chef and watch the food being prepared before us. Scallops were out...More

Went on a Sunday evening and every single dish was excellent. Best tarama ever tried, delicious artichokes, great for ordering many plates and sharing. We will definitely go back to try more dishes.

Nice dinner with the hubby at this place. First time trying this kind of cuisine but totally worth it. Food packed with flavour, attentive service and cool ambience.

We are here pre theatre, thought the greeter was throwing us a line when she said we can fit you in, ‘we’ve had two no shows’!! However, how wrong were we, while sitting at the bar they had to turn away another 20 people while...More

Amazing restaurant with such great food. Tapas style Israeli food. So delicious. Relatively small restaurant with bar area and dining room at the back. Service great too. Highly recommended.

Had a tapas lunch at the Palomar with colleagues. Food we delicious....interesting combination of flavours. The ambience was great. I often travel and I'm on my own....would be very comfortable sitting at the bar counter which overlooks the kitchen when I return.

Yes, absolutely! The Apollo is on Shaftesbury Avenue, and The Palomar is on a side street off of this - probably less than a 2-3 minute stroll. I'd recommend it, truly.

I remember it being casual, although we 'dressed' up a bit. However, we went for lunch. Might be best to check.
