We stayed at the W Leicester Square and Misato was located across the street. It also popped up as one of the highest rated restaurants in the area. Misato offers decent Japanese food at great prices, especially considering how pricey it can get. We visited on a Saturday evening and there was a long queue of people although the line... More

It is so nice and cheap food in the heart of london. It is worth to wait. I like the kapamaki and beef udon.they have big portions. 100% recommend.

Such a good place to eat, especially when it comes to their Chicken Katsu Curry! I can never finish my meal! The quality and quantity of the food is great, and the price of the food is the greatest! So so cheap! Though, they offer an OK customer service. But wouldn't complain with the price and the food quality they... More

I went because I'm a huge fan of Japanese food and the prices were pretty reasonable for the centre of London. Also, the staff were very nice and very busy, the place was packed. I didn't enjoy the food though so I wouldn't rush back. The fried dumplings I had were not nice and were a bit chewy. The teriyaki... More

Was out one night with a friend and looking for a place to eat that wasn't too outrageously expensive. A quick search on Yelp recommended this place, so off we went. It was a bit hard to find as they have no name sign or anything outside, we walked past it a couple times before going by house number. But... More

Misato is in a great location right by Leicester Square and the food is cheap and great value for money, but I'm afraid I struggled to find anything I could actually eat. I was told about it by a few friends, and I assumed, as it was in the heart of London there'd be at least one vegetarian thing on... More

This teeny tiny restaurant suffers from his qualities and fame. The first thing to consider is the queue someone has to do before having a seat. Once gently invited to take a seat, the service is fast enough, the menu proposes a large variety of dishes, and prices sound very accessible. The food was of quality, the plate was generous.... The price was OK, and it is a quick place to grab lunch . However, the curry udon sauce was just like the regular sauce with curry powder in it - not thick or flavourful or anything like what you would be served in Japan. Also, I'm not sure, but I think the staff / owners may be Chinese. I... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
