Decided to go eat there with some friends. Place looks decent and that's were the good stuff stops. Ordered lamb cutlets and all I got was fat on a bone, no meat whatsoever! Me and 4 friends had been drinking as well so we decided to ask for the bill to leave. The bill came and they had added £80... More

We went last night - it started badly and went downhill until we left. We were 3/4 hour before we got a drink, they said they had to print out the drinks menu! We ordered cocktails and then could see the bar staff licking bitters off their hands to try to identify them! We cancelled the cocktails. We got shown... More

Went for brunch...THE worst experience. Lovely venue but badly let down by horrendous service and horribly poor quality food, which of course is completely overpriced. I've had better food and better service at my local greasy spoon. Avoid at all costs.

Our experience started at reception when the women was more interested in applying her lip balm and finding her phone that her customers. This continued after being seated at the table that was below our knees - unsuitable for dining - being given a brunch menu only not the al a carte, not offered a drink and then left without... I had booked this restaurant as a surprise for my friends birthday. The decor looked beautiful on the website so thought it would be perfect. The head waiter called me the day before to confirm my booking and offered to book us a table for a cocktail after our meal, knowing it was my friends birthday. So far I was... More

Was here for brunch last sunday, place looks very cool, but the staff was mega slow. Walked in and immediatley ordered a pitcher of water because my friend was thirsty... we literally had to ask 5 times to get some water. Took about another 15 minutes to get our food ordered (again had to ask). Also ordered the berry smoothie,... More

We ordered some cocktails that they forgot. They changed the gnocchi plate as one person completely drunk took a bite of my plate but then... More

We were invited by friends as their guests and on reading some pretty terrible reviews went with an open mind. The place is an absolute disaster. The entrance is through two gridlocked doors with two little protected portals - maybe in its heyday this was a way to turn away people. We rang the bell many times no response so I went to... Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last.
