Exceptionally well thought out and creatively crafted menu. Each dish was a balance of flavor, texture and visual appeal. Nothing too fussy, simply well prepared. Chez Bruce is a firm favourite and usually the perfect restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. I'd booked for my wife's birthday and she was delighted. The table we had was lovely and the menu as always was special. We'd opted for the amuse bouche,...More

It was our turn to treat Clare and she loves Chez Bruce. She started with burrato, cherry tomato, strawberry salad and balsamic vinegar: Tony had the fueillete of summer vegetables with citrus vinaigrette and avocado; I had the arista Toscana, thinly sliced herb-encrusted loin of...More

First time here and it was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was efficient and friendly. Had the set lunch which was good value with a wide choice. Would thoroughly recommend and will certainly be going again.

A local favourite. Tranquil setting with superb food and exceptional service. The lunch menu offers good value for money as dinner can get quite expensive with so many fine wines on offer. Allow time to savour the delights. We tried to speed through in a...More

Anniversary dinner for 2 on Fri 30th June. All courses were brilliant as was the bottle of wine recommended. We both had the lobster + scallop ravioli to start, followed by the pork dish & sea bass dish and finished it with the hot chocolate...More

At Chez Bruce there is no dress code but you might see most of the guests dressed smart casual. The atmosphere is very relaxed.
