We had lunch here on Wednesday and it was absolutely yummy. They serve organic food that is simple, tasty, well presented with decent prices. I had the pork terrine with the sticky toffee pudding for desert. Returning very soon for more! Just beautiful. Thanks

Now formally part of the excellent Riverford Organic farms family, we visited on a wet sunday afternoon. The restaurant was full but there was space in the busy bar area. The pub was clean and the staff friendly. Only had cabbage and potato soup but it was tasty and served quickly. Highly recommended to those that like their food tasty... More

Our first visit to this buzzing gastro pub which had been recommended in a newspaper article. Glad we did and understandably busy at Sunday lunchtime as the traditional roast was very good indeed. We had the venison followed by the pear and apple crumble, mmmmm. Great vibe, good location a pleasant stroll from the busy main road, accommodating and friendly... More

This highly recommended place for organic dining was awful. Service was poor, food was bland and very overpriced. Avoid if you can....

Visited for a late lunch today. I was with three business colleagues, not from London and I could tell on arrival, that they were a bit unsure about the place! "It's a bit out of the way" said one. "How did you find this place" said another. I reassured everyone that I'd been before and the food would be good.... More

Then again a lot of the bill was probably due to my work colleagues trying to sample all the whisky. A few good vegetarian options, nice big tables they were happy to reserve for us, and efficient service. Menu is written up on the wall so it's easier to look at the website on your phone.

They have fresh food coming from farmers, dishes are not sofisticated but good. The restaurant is nice, service is ok.

We had a lovely meal for 10 last night here. The smoked salmon was very good and the Turkey roll had many interesting trimmings and was very good. The Christmas Pud was excellent with melted brandy butter and clotted cream. I commented on it and was given a free one to have another day. Thanks. Not cheap but we had... More

Went here for a few drinks. It was busy and obviously a popular place. People I was was ordered food and me and some others just wanted a portion of chips. They don't do chips so had to have a portion of roast potatoes - a bit random - and they weren't the best. But all the staff were really... More

We had lunch with our two boys yesterday at Duke of Cambridge upon recommendation of a local friend. We were not deceived. The food was tasty and very fresh. The beetroot risotto was especially nice. The staff are pleasant and even went out of their way to prepare us a doggy bag for our youngest, who had fallen asleep during... More
