My husband and I visited with friends on a Thursday evening, we ordered a variety of tapas dishes and I must say all were enjoyed. The boar cheeks and the calamari were my favourites. Decent service. Waiter had a smile which is always nice. House red did the job nicely. All in all a great evening.

I went here with a group of friends after a movie. We got a variety of fish, vegetarian and one meat dish all of which complimented each other. They were very tasty and well seasoned, the portions were good and the prices were reasonable. You can tell that the owners take the quality of their cooking seriously and were warm... More

I've been wanting to try this Tapas bar for some time now, and I am definitely glad that I finally have. The food was delicious! ...and I am a tough critic when it comes to Spanish and Latin American food, having grown up cooking it myself, so it takes a lot to really impress me! I like my tapas to... I really like La Bota, compared to a lot of tapas restaurants in London the portion sizes are pretty decent (try the tortilla!), and so are the prices. An authentic taste of Spain in London.

A family outing for an early dinner- mixture of jet lag and next day school necessitated a 6.00pm kick-off. A selection of different and delicious sherries captivated me straight off. Sadly a rarity these days as sherry does seem to be out of fashion at least in London and definitely Paris. Good choice of tapas, some wonderful others a bit... More

We used to eat here a lot. Unfortunately, although one grumpy member of staff is still there, the food has gone right down. Very greasy and not tasty. In Crouch End where there are a lot of eateries, some which are of a very high standard and not necessarily very expensive - La Bota just isn't good enough!

Good Tapas and portion sizes, nice surroundings, friendly service, would definitely visit again when in the area.

We have been here twice and every time the food was really good. I enjoyed most the boar dishes but salads and fish are equally as good. Very friendly and helpful staff. When they are very busy it can take a while for the food to arrive but then it is freshly prepared.

It was only ok but from personal experience, Bar Estaban, which is located around the corner is a much better option for tapas in Croudh End. Here is my assessment of the dishes that we had on our visit: - Grilled Lamb Cutlets: Very tasty and tender, but not enough is provided - Cheeks of Jabugo Boar: Also very tender... More

worst meal I've ever been given. Took ages to arrive and when it did it was inedible. other customers were clearly also very unhappy with the food. quite shocked they are still open.
