I heard about La Trompette from a friend who rated it highly, and after my visit I can do nothing but agree. The service was excellent to the point of changing menu items for my pregnant wife, wine superb, and the food was of the...More

Had absolutely no problems with my strict GF/DF diet and was able to select pretty much anything from the menu which was adapted deliciously to meet my requirements. The ambience of the restaurant is both relaxed and stylish and the staff were attentive and efficient....More

Really good food and quite affordable prices especially if you go at lunch time. Best fine dining experience in Chiswick!

La Trompette offers a very high standard of cooking but somehow retains the casual and relaxed feel of a neighbourhood restaurant. I had a stunning first course of raw gilt head bream with bonito, shimeji mushrooms and pickled cucumber. Served on a very chilled plate...More

This is a very good place for a business diner. The seafood is really high quality and the French burgundy wine was perfect. A bit expensive but it is worth having diner there. Staff very efficient.

I dined here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon. The food and service were glorious. I'd strongly recommend leaving a little room for pudding as the Soufflé was delicious. This is now at the top of my favourite restaurant list.

Been going to la trompette for 10 years, at least a couple of times a year, and I can honestly say no one we know has had a wrong choice there. You know the ones, when you wish you had ordered someone else's dish? Nope,...More

Was here for a business dinner - I had the duck (which was wonderful) and my two colleagues had a pork dish that they raved over. The cocktails were perfectly prepared, and the wine list was well chosen. The service was excellent. My only complaint...More

Just the most amazing experience I've had recently. The service and the food is the best I've experienced. Beautiful food, great staff and everyone at ease - much laughter and joy with fellow diners ... A very rare creation in London. Simply wonderful.

The menu changes daily, I believe. However, I believe I may have a copy from the time I was there and will try to upload over the next 24 hours.

Frankly fish cutlery has become less and less fashionable even in top restaurants....also a good dishwasher does the job. Quality of products, cooking and service is more important.

Description
La Trompette opened in 2001 and serves some of the best food in London but without the formality or prices associated with the capital’s top end establishments. We closed at the beginning of 2013 for a complete refurbishment, and have expanded to include a brand new kitchen, private dining and improved customer facilities. The new appearance has not changed the focus of the restaurant. The aim is as it always has been, to give all our guests the best possible dining experience from start to finish.
