Had dinner here Saturday 19th October with my wife. Place was full and they were turning tables 2, sometimes, 3 times in the evening. Atmosphere very lively and friendly. Food was reasonably priced and quality was generally good in a varied English-based menu. Start of mackerel was tasty if not a little small. Main of guinea foul was good although... More

Very good food, pleasant environment, good service. We ordered a bottle of good vine, 2 starters, 2 main dishes and one desert - all for just over £100. Please note that while ordering vine, the price indicated is per glass and 1/2 bottle NOT a full bottle. By default 12,5% gratitude is added to your bill.

I did a Google search for the best Sunday Roasts in London, south of the river as this was most convenient for us and I discovered The Laughing Gravy (LG). The reviews on Trip Advisor were great and what I can say.........they were absolutely right!! I had contacted the owner, John beforehand as my baby daughter (aged 14 months) has... More

my wife and I ate at the laughing gravy last week and enjoyed everything about the place; its a really comfortable, cosy restaurant and in my opinion, well worth seeking out. We hadn't booked ahead, as we'd only found the details of the place on our arrival to the city so it was nice to be so warmly welcomed as... More

Went to Laughing Gravy the other weekend for dinner with a group of friends. Had never heard of the reststurant but as it came highly recommended we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Very good menu, service and atmosphere. The food were second to none. We did not have a single dish that was below par.... More

I found Laughing Gravy on Trip Advisor and the reviews were very helpful. I made reservations online several months in advance. Knowing that it is a small place I wanted to make sure that they could seat six people. Once we got to London, the reservation changed to seven and the folks at Laughing Gravy were very accommodating. Dinner was... More

Based on the awesome recommendations from TripAdvisor my husband and I made reservations here for a weekend trip to London. We were a bit early for our reservation, but they ended up seating us early. The staff was very nice, the manager even spent about 20 minutes at the end of our meal chatting with us, making recommendations for other... More

What a vibrant place, has a fun busy atmosphere that can get quite noisy. Had Sunday roast with friends which was very good , the beef was cooked medium rare and was accompanied by a huge Yorkshire and all the trimmings. The wine list was inventive and fairly priced. The service was good and the waiter was very helpful when... More

On a course in London, morning one ended at 1100 afternoon one started at 1400 so needed a good lunch. Website and sign on the doors said it opened at 1100 but sadly they weren't open until 1145 they just said the change had only just happened. I ordered a sweet cured mackerel with accompaniments, it was stunningly beautifully presented... More
