We expected perfection but were slightly disappointed by the service. The cocktails, wine and food were all excellent but were let down by slightly poor service. We felt second rate and that other diners were given preferential treatment. We have subsequently been told by a...More

How difficult is it for a supposedly top restaurant to take an order accurately and serve food hot? The waiter came back to check our order but still got it wrong with one of the courses. The mushroom risotto portion was tiny for a main...More

We went there for Sunday lunch because this place is highly rated. The ambience is lovely, and it's quite large and airy place. Staff were pretty competent. I wasn't too impressed by their vegetarian menu, which was a rather poor selection for such a highly...More

What a disappointment. The welcome was friendly but, after we were shown to our table the service was rushed and the staff had an air of complete disinterest. The service was almost robotic. This is a very busy restaurant and you feel like you are...More

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent return visit to this good quality unpretentious restaurant. Not cheap by any means but not over priced either. It is casual good food and all courses were fine. I worry that the lack of opinion is making Le Caprice mundane which...More

We love Le Caprice and this is a staple return to place when we have a ladies lunch. Food is excellent and service fabulous. Always recommend to anyone.

St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the
establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during
a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing
