wonderful food as ever! I went for lunch yesterday with an ex-colleague, he had the pork belly, lovely tender moist meat with perfect crispy crackling and I had the roast lamb, cooked pink but again very tender. The house red wine, a "Dominio de Requena"...More

Everyone, from the manager to the waitress (especially the guy with glasses), is very rude. I would never recommend anyone come this place. Just terrible.

Went to Moro for pre Saddlers Wells dinner, big mistake. We hadn't booked so we were treated as second rate customers. Staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and couldn't wait to get us out quick enough. Even tried to remove my wine glass before I had emptied...More

Didn’t pre book on a Sat evening but managed to get a table. Not a recommended thing to do as it’s busy. As previously mentioned there are strict time sittings-but suited us for Sadlers Wells theatre ( very close). Service was good and food was...More

Had lunch with a friend last week and it was really enjoyable apart from the fish being over seasoned. I don’t know what it is with chefs nowadays - but there is a trend to over season (and by this I mean add salt) to...More

Apart from the less than warm welcome, the rest of the meal was fabulous, very big portions so good value for money, I had the wood fired chicken which was lovely and the rose water and cardamon ice cream was wonderful. Try the santorini vin...More

A delightful experience, food excellent as were the wines. Huge list available and bottom end of £17.00 which for London is not bad. I had the roast quail, exquisite lamb chops followed by raisin ice cream and proper Moroccan coffee. Service was very good and...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site

renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a

Description
It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
