Very original menu with lots of vegetable and flavor. Not very spicy (hot) which was a bit of a shame. However, very nice use of spices to prepare complex flavor dishes. I would return to this restaurant and would recommend it if you like some...More

Very tasty food, I have been a couple of times and have never been disappointed. It is on the expensive side but it is worth it. Lots of other good places on exmouth market too if Moro is full.

Very high quality food and a lovely location too. I especially liked the toasted chick-peas. The desert wine selection was excellent too.

Second visit here and standard of food remains high. Wonderful flavours if you want something different . Lamb main was excellent with pomegranate, carrot, spinach and almonds. Rabbit starter a bit grisly but flavours excellent. Extensive wine list but limited choice under £40. No room...More

I visited for lunch on Thurs 12th Nov and had a good meal - but was expecting more. The location and service were both very good however the food was slightly disappointing. I started with the scallops - however felt they were just slightly flavourless....More

I've been to Moro a number of times and always enjoyed the food and the buzz, but last night four of us had dinner there and it was poor. The service was robotic and the main courses were largely a mess - poorly presented and...More

Buzzy cool place on a very cool street! Very good food and pleasant service. Try the fish broth soup with harissa - delicious, the mushrooms, port and yoghurt dessert !!!

Beautifully cooked and presented meals in a laid back atmosphere. The menu changes so its difficult to make recommendations. BUT, the "fried rabbit" starter was incredibly succulent, as was the venison. Atlantic seabass was a delight, and the wood roasted chicken and the pork and...More

Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site
of an ancient meat market which remains in operation
today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally
renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and
some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a
focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough
time wondering through the area's maze of streets and
you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky

It might be one of the hippest venues in one of the hippest parts of the capital but this Clerkenwell restaurant still manages to be relaxed and more concerned with good food than being trendy. The restaurant’s décor with its polished wooden floors, long zinc bar and open view to the kitchen and its charcoal grill and wood-burning oven is functional but welcoming. The Moorish cuisine complete with subtle European influence is every bit as striking as it was when the restaurant opened its doors nearly ten years ago. Tapas served all day at the bar. Reservations taken by phone and directly from our website.PLEASE NOTE - Moro restaurant is now open seven days a week. Please refer to our website for correct opening hours
